Announcement   Hello, and welcome to Button Chair!

If you don't find what you're looking for, please feel free to contact me. I am still getting the hang of the ebb and flow of inventory, and I sew as time permits, squeezed in around the edges of everyday life with two little ones underfoot. Button Chair is both my shop name, and my reminder to myself to sit down and get busy sewing (butt in chair!). :)

Thanks for stopping by!

About

Head in the Clouds, Butt on Chair...

"If you have built castles in the air, your work need not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them.” - Henry David Thoreau

Hello! Welcome to Button Chair. I’m Gina, and I created this shop to provide a foundation for "castles" that I’ve built in the air. I am a big-picture dreamer who sometimes needs a little prodding to get my head out of the clouds. I have often heard the phrase “butt in chair” given as advice to aspiring writers, and I think it applies equally well to any individual who loves to create but needs a little self-discipline! For a gift shop that includes a variety of sewn items, Button Chair seemed a bit more meaningful than Butt-in Chair, but the sentiment remains: Button Chair represents my commitment to transforming ideas into tangible products for you to enjoy using yourself or giving to someone you care about.

I aim to combine high-quality materials and cheerful designs to create products that are both fun and functional. I am a conscientious crafter who only sells items that I personally would buy, use, or give as a gift. At the same time, I recognize that imperfections are part of the process, especially when items are individually made as opposed to mass produced. I am proud to say that my products, just like my customers, are unique and beautiful. :)

Thanks for stopping by Button Chair!

Returns and exchanges
Customer satisfaction is very important to me! Please let me know if you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason. (And, of course, I'd also love to hear from you if you're delighted with your purchase!)

Items can only be returned if they are unused, unwashed, and able to be sold again as new.

Returned items must be shipped back to me within 10 days of when they were delivered to you. A refund will be issued once I receive the item.

Initial shipping fees (incurred at time of purchase), and return shipping fees are not refundable and are the responsibility of the buyer.

After 10 days, all sales will be considered final.
Payment
I accept all major credit cards as well as payment via Paypal.

Payment must be made at the time of purchase.
Shipping
Items will ship within 1-3 business days of your completed purchase, unless otherwise indicated, via USPS.

Please note that shipping charges are an estimate. If your charges exceed actual shipping costs by more than $0.50, I will refund the difference.

If you’re interested in purchasing insurance for your package, please contact me to receive a price quote.

At this time, I ship primarily to domestic locations. If you live outside the US and are interested in purchasing something from my shop, please send me a message (indicating your location) to determine the cost of international shipping and we can try to work something out. Thanks!
Additional policies and FAQs
- All items listed in my shop are in stock and ready to ship from a pet-free, smoke-free environment.

- If you are interested in a custom order, please contact me! I love to hear your ideas and will be happy to fulfill your request if it fits within my skill set, time constraints, and available materials.

- With the exception of taking photos and sending packages (both of which my husband helps me with when he can!), I am one-woman operation. :) I sew as time permits, squeezed in around the edges of everyday life with two kiddos underfoot. Please check my shop announcement for updated messages about processing times, etc.

- When preparing items for shipping, I usually wrap them first in tissue paper, then place them in a plastic bag for extra protection. If your item is a gift and you'd like me to include a little note (or something of that sort), please let me know. I'd be happy to accommodate your request if I can!

- To save on materials, I typically do not include a hard copy receipt with your purchase. If you would like one, please ask for one when you place your order.

- I make an effort to reuse shipping supplies whenever possible.

♥︎ Thank you again for taking the time to visit my shop. Have a good day!
