The Idea Behind the Button Scarf . . .
was a collaboration between my mother and I. My mom loves to knit and by the time my first son was two years old he had an army of knit hats made by my mother. We needed a project. I'm always in constant search of clothing that works not only in studio when I'm elbow deep in clay, but that keeps me warm and looks good while I'm talking to customers. I really needed a scarf that kept me warm, stayed out of my clay and that added some style to my typical studio clothes. The Button Scarf was born. Practical and stylish, the Button Scarf is perfect for work and play. Each one is hand knit and is completed with two ceramic buttons that I make at the PONSHOP.
