Do you ever pick up a product in the drugstore, check the label, and see a long list of ingredients with names you can't pronounce? That experience is why I started making my own products. As someone who suffers from acne and contact dermatitis, my skin is super sensitive to almost everything it comes in contact with. And what's more, what we put on our bodies actually makes its way inside our bodies, which is a little scary. That's why I think you'll like my products. I use natural ingredients like coconut oil, shea butter, beeswax, and therapeutic-grade essential oils in all my products, so when you buy something from my shop you can be sure that it is safe and not full of harmful artificial ingredients. If you can't pronounce something, why would you want it in your lotion?!

All products in my shop are handmade in Sacramento, California. My shop donates 10% of its proceeds to the Wellspring Women's Center, a Sacramento-based nonprofit organization that provides low-income women and their children with hot nutritious meals, hygiene products, and other important services. My shop also donates 5% of its proceeds to Pug Nation Rescue of Los Angeles, which is the shelter that I adopted my dog Buzz from. They are a wonderful organization that rescues pugs (and many other breeds!) and finds loving homes for them.

I named my shop Buzz Botanicals after my dog Buzz, a French Bulldog/Pug mix who likes to hover at my feet while I work, hoping to eat whatever I might drop on the floor!
