Meet Angeline
My love for stones and natural treasures began as a child growing up in the Pacific Northwest. I spent my early years collecting agates on my family farm and along the Oregon coast, captivated by their beauty, texture, and energy. By the age of five, I was already selling my finds door to door—my first glimpse into a life built around creativity and connection to the earth.
I come from a family of artists and sensitives, where creativity was not just encouraged—it was a way of life. At sixteen, I began traveling with my father, Emery Bear, as he sold his paintings of angels. Together, we explored metaphysical shops and art shows across the country, deepening my connection to gemstones, carving, and the belief that these materials carry meaning far beyond their physical form.
In 1997, I became a single mother of two young children. With determination and very little to my name, I began creating and selling small jewelry pieces—traveling across the United States to support my family. My dream was always to work with stones and metal, to create something lasting and meaningful with my hands.
Life took many turns along the way. From working in the Rocky Mountains and snowboarding daily, to guiding and falling in love with whitewater rafting, I embraced every chapter fully. After a serious accident ended one path, a new one opened. Through vocational rehabilitation, I returned to Oregon to attend jewelers school and was given the opportunity to build my own studio.
What once felt like a setback became a turning point.
I began professionally creating jewelry in 1997 and later graduated from the American Jewelers Institute in Portland, Oregon in 2001. Over the past 20+ years, I have developed a signature style rooted in organic form, natural textures, and the transformative process of molten metal. Each piece begins as a hand-carved wax and is brought to life through traditional casting methods—shaped by fire, guided by intuition.
Before byAngeline, my original company Earth Enchanted reflected my deep connection to nature and the belief that jewelry should feel alive and personal. That philosophy continues to define my work today.
Working alongside me is my son, Stormi, a fine jeweler who has been part of the studio for the past 10 years. Together, we create each piece with care, precision, and a shared dedication to true handmade craftsmanship.
I am incredibly grateful to have built a life doing what I love—creating jewelry that carries meaning, memory, and connection. Every piece I make is designed to be as individual as the person who wears it, and to last for generations to come.
Transforming metal with fire still feels like magic to me. Each time I work with molten gold, I am reminded why I began this journey in the first place.
I believe everything happens as it is meant to, and I am honored to share this path with you.
I am truly grateful to be a part of over 5000 love stories.
There is only one byAngeline.
Many blessings,
Angeline
