...A One-Stop-Shop for All Your Personalized Gifting Needs!

I started my Etsy shop in May of 2012 just before the birth of my daughter, Hazel. I was inspired to create a beautiful nursery for her, and after prodding from friends and family, decided to share my designs on Etsy.

Designing and Engraving has been a great way to remain creative, have more time with my little ones and support our family. I received a BA in Studio Art from James Madison University in 1999 and concentrated specifically in three dimensional design using various mediums. I absolutely love crafting and creating fresh work that is uniquely tailored for each client.

You can email us for lead times and to ask any questions!! Rush orders can be done if our schedule allows. I am available for special projects if you have a vision and wish us to make it happen for you.

Obviously we have to have some policies in place to keep things running smoothly and protect our shop. Returns and exchange details
We want you to be completely happy with your purchase!! If you would like to return or exchange an item that has NOT been personalized, please let us know within one week of receipt. We will gladly refund any item as long as it is returned in its original condition and NOT a custom engraved order that we would be unable to resell. We will not refund the shipping expenses and we are not responsible for lost or damaged items. You must file a claim with the postal service if your item is lost or delayed.

Please note that any manufacturer warranty is null and void upon personalizing a Yeti Product. Once the yeti's are engraved, they can no longer be considered under warranty.

Please note that proofs are meant to be a representation of what the engraving may look like on the items and are meant to be approximate to the size and location. Actual engraving may vary slightly in appearance, size, and shape due to variations in the product being engraved such as wood grain, tapering and curvature of cups/mugs/bottles/etc., and engravers assessment of best sizing, location, centering to bring your vision to life with the most precision and perfection. Returns, Exchanges, and Refunds are not offered in a case where a proof is approved and the engraving varies slightly due for the reasons listed above.

Some wood items featured are finished with black wax - black wax is available by request and does cost an extra $5 per item. Please let us know in the notes/personalization box or etsy messages if you would like black wax and we will invoice you for the additional fees.

Payment must be received before I begin working on your order. Once your order is in house, we begin the proofing process. All lead times begin on date of purchase.
Shipping
UNITED STATES CUSTOMERS:

Items will ship via the US Postal Service (First Class Or Priority Mail depending on weight) or UPS and will usually arrive within 2-5 days of the ship date if you are in the lower 48. Custom orders may take longer depending on my workload and the size of your order. If you need faster shipping, you can choose EXPRESS SHIPPING at checkout. This will ensure speedy delivery but does not mean you will be processed any faster. In some cases, I can offer a rush processing option depending on my work load and bring in people to work after hours. If you are needing something quickly, please inquire about Rush Processing Fees. Also please let me know if you would prefer me to use a different carrier and I will quote and post accordingly.

If we ship your item UPS, your package is fully covered by insurance ON US! Yay! New perk for our customers added in October of 2021! For items sent via USPS (items weighing under a pound mostly), First class is NOT INSURED. Priority mail is insured up to $50.

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS:

My shipping fees are are estimated based on previous sales to your region of the world. International customers are responsible for any and/or all Customs fees, taxes, and duties associated with shipping & purchasing to their respective countries, should they be assessed. Most country’s customs agencies open and/or assign fees to a random selection of packages. Any customs fees, taxes, tariffs, duties, etc. that may be incurred at the time of delivery would be at the discretion of your country’s tax regulations. I am NOT responsible for those charges. My philosophy: Be prepared to pay these fees and HOPE your package is not chosen to apply charges. They don’t flag all ETSY merchandise but they do occasionally! If you would like to purchase insurance to cover potential loss or damage, please let me know BEFORE ordering. I do individually wrap each item and package well.

If you need faster shipping, please also let me know BEFORE ordering, so that I can adjust the price. Also please let me know if you would prefer me to use a different carrier and I will quote and post accordingly.

If a product is engraved incorrectly, we will refund the cost of the product, but we can not refund the shipping if the product can not be returned to us. This should be something to consider if you are an international customer. For our domestic customers, shipping will be refunded once the product is “returned to sender.”
Additional policies and FAQs
Any proofs that have not been approved after 5 days is subject to being processed WITHOUT approval of proof.

We are a busy little shop and we can't have orders build up on us. We realize there are disasters and misfortunes that happen and that this policy may ruffle a few feathers, but in most cases, customers are glad we process them anyway because they didn't realize there was a proofing process and they weren't looking for an email or the emails were going to spam or an old address associated with their Etsy account and they NEED them for gifts in a timely manner. We will often wait longer than 5 days and try multiple ways of contacting before running the project.

We are on our customer's side, but we have to have a procedure in place for this type of situation. We hope once you become familiar with our process, you will appreciate this policy! It will get your items to you and everyone else much faster! :)

What are your hours of operation?

We are Open Monday through Friday 8am to 4pm.

We work on the weekends as needed, but value our family time, so we won’t be as available Saturday and Sunday! We do our best to get back to our customers as soon as possible!

I can’t upload an image, logo or design I would like to have engraved when checking out. How do I get my personalization to you if I have something specific I want engraved?

At checkout, you would note that you are sending me a design via Etsy Conversation. You can also email your images direct to our designer, Annie, here: annie@blueridgeengraving.com. We accept EPS, JPG, TIFF or PNG formats. High resolution files preferred.

YETI WARRANTY?

Once your YETI cup is engraved by a third party, they will no longer honor their warranty (even though we are using the same laser engraving machines as they are) This is their policy. So if you feel something is innately wrong with your cup AFTER we engrave it- ie: you feel is isn't keeping your drinks warm enough or cold enough, there is nothing we can do about it. We trust that YETI products are well made as they have proven to be for many years. You are, however, taking a chance when you buy from a third party engraver because if anything went wrong in manufacturing, it is not covered by a warranty. It's just the way they roll. We don't know why they choose to do this, possibly to inhibit small businesses like ours from succeeding.

Can I get a bulk discount on your Yeti Cups?

Yeti does not discount for bulk orders- it is the same price if we buy one or 10,000. It is a brand thing 🙄 which is why we started carrying Polar Camels, RTIC and Brumate which use the same innovative double wall technology, but are less costly. They look great too! How fast can I get my purchase from the time I put my order in?

Typically, we turn around product in a couple days. It helps to get right back to us with proof edits or approval and be looking for Etsy notification when a proof is ready for review. As the holidays grow closer, we recommend ordering early as our lead times WILL extend.

IF YOU NEED YOUR PURCHASE RIGHT AWAY.... you can purchase Express Shipping at checkout. It isn’t cheap, but USPS will guarantee next-day delivery on items we take to the post office before 2pm. Be sure to send us a message if you are in a hurry and inquire whether or not production can meet your deadline. We often can, but be sure to check first!

Can you fulfill bulk ordering?

Absolutely! We have added another laser this year just for this purpose! We are happy to tackle any of your larger corporate marketing needs or personal order requests!

Can I send you something to engrave? How much does it cost?

Certainly! However, there are limits to what we can engrave, so always ask first before sending us your items!

We have a minimum of $20 for all items sent to us. Some will be more- it just depends on the scope and complexity of the project.

A simple cup is $20 for one-sided engraving- $25 for both sides to be engraved.

Please include your name, email address and shipping address so we can bill you the shipping cost and engraving expense.

Where is my package? It says “In Transit” and it seems to be taking forever- what can you do?

Once items are in the possession of the carrier you have chosen, the carrier assumes FULL RESPONSIBILITY of your package. I encourage all my customers to buy insurance if you are concerned your items could be lost or damaged. It is offered at checkout. Blue Ridge Engraving is NOT RESPONSIBLE for parcels that are lost, stolen or damaged in transit. Those claims must be handled with the carrier you chose to use directly.
