These days I like to say that I love what I do and I do what I love.

Sounds awesome, right?

But everything wasn’t this way for many years. I want to share with you my story because I want you to know the truth and maybe help somebody to not give up.

To be honest, even now, I have bad days from time to time.

A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.

Let’s start from the beginning.

Never give up. The story of my life. My journey.
As I remember myself I had no idea what I wanted to do in life. I went with the flow and I didn’t think much. I even remember that day when one of my acquaintances said that he had no idea what I could do for a living. And it was true. This happened in 2012.

I had a sport as a part of my life in that period. But it was only a hobby and I stopped seeing improvement because I didn’t want to study the theory of this sport. I only used to go to the gym three times a week and that’s all. I didn’t care much about it.

Back in 2014, my first office job was a complete failure. Not only did they not pay me my full salary, but they gave me responsibilities that weren’t part of my job.. But at some point, my friend helped me. I started work as an SEO freelancer and then I got a full-time job in internet marketing. I worked in that field for 2 years. Of course, I’ve had ups and downs. Sometimes I was not respected at work and paid little. But I tried my best to do my job well. However, over time, I couldn’t do this anymore when I realised that my work wasn’t appreciated, despite giving all of myself to it.

I don’t remember how, but I recognized that I wanted to change my job area. I spent almost a year learning new knowledge. Then I spent a few months searching for a new job. Finding a job without work experience is still a challenge.

Finally, I found it. I worked as an HTML coder for 2 years. At one point I liked it, but at the same time, I faced various problems like sexism and bad attitudes.

Throughout these two years, I changed companies four times. It wasn’t a good sign. Everything went wrong and I felt it.

For 5 years I also tried to make my own small business. I was making soaps and candles, I was selling clothes for dogs, and I was trying to find myself.

Nothing good happened. It felt wrong.

At the end of my last office job, something happened to me and that’s why I took 2 months off from work. But in fact, it turned my whole life around.

I started to learn new things for me. Thanks to my friend, I got a new part-time job in a completely new field. And it felt right.

Despite the fact that I never knew what I wanted to do, I tried my hand at different fields over and over again. I fell and got back up, fell again, and carried on. I was looking for myself. Sometimes I took a step back or pause. But after a while, I continued my journey. I know how you can feel shitty if you’re out of place. People can chip away at you and humiliate you. Especially at work, they can easily make you feel like you’re not working well. I know all this. I went through this.

You should remember that even now I can have bad days. Shit can happen at any time. But now I love what I do and I know that I’m in that place where I belong.

It took me almost 6 years to find what I love.

Now I have a part-time job as a video editor and YouTube manager. I also help with Instagram accounts for my client. I have a new hobby in my life which I have a passion for.

I love my job and I love my hobbies. It took me a long way to be here where I am now.

So, don’t give up. Search for yourself if you have not found yourself yet and do not stop walking on your path. Everyone’s has their own. Good luck!
