About

Handmade indulgences

Thank you for visiting my shop!

I studied jewelry design and fashion design when I was in college and then life took me in a different direction. Recently, I started making jewelry for myself because I couldn't find what I was looking for. That's when the creative bug bit me again! Now I make jewelry every day.

My background is in working with metal, but lately I have become addicted to gorgeous beads. Ancient beads, hand cut and polished beads, stone beads that have natural imperfections which make them even more beautiful in my opinion. I love them. I have always been a collector of treasures. I have treasures from the beach, hikes and my travels. Ancient artifacts, fossils, stones. I try to incorporate treasures into my work, wether it be a beautiful stone, fossil or ancient artifact. Some call it buying supplies. For me, it is hunting for treasures.

Jewelry is a personal indulgence, one of life's little luxuries. When you find a great piece that you wear often, it becomes a part of you. I hope you find something you love here.

Enjoy.

Welcome to my shop. Thanks for looking. Everything here is handmade by me right down to the hand forged ear wires and clasps. I don't make the beads myself, however, I develop a very close relationship with them as I spend a lot of time scrubbing ancient dirt off of ancient beads with a little brush and a lot of the pearls and hand cut gemstone beads that I buy come with tiny holes, so I work on those by hand so they will fit into my pieces.

Returns and exchange details
I only want happy customers! Please look at all of the pictures and read the descriptions. I try to include all the information that might be relevant. If you have any problem with any of my hand made items, please let me know as soon as possible so that I can do whatever it takes to make you happy. I use beads that are ancient, vintage and old in my jewellery, so of course they will sometimes have chips, cracks, pitting or patina (wouldn't you if you were 2000 years old ;), this is an important part of my work, so I hope you appreciate them like I do. I package my items very carefully, so they will arrive at your door exactly how they left mine, but accidents happen, so please let me know. A lot of my components are one of a kind, so it may not be possible to replace, if something is broken, but I am sure we will be able to come up with a solution if there is a problem. Customer service is very important to me. If you are unhappy for any reason, please let me know so we can find a resolution.
Payment
I accept Paypal. I think it is the safest option for the buyer. If you have never used it is is really easy. I am happy to help if you have questions. I also accept Direct Checkout. The buyer (you) is responsible for any taxes, customs or duties or whatever your country makes you pay to receive the items you buy. Please look into this as these costs can sometimes be quite high.
Shipping
Canada Post is expensive - sorry for that, but I can load a lot of jewellery in a package, so no matter how many items you order, you only pay the base shipping fee. I ship as soon as I possibly can after the purchase. I take a bit of time to carefully package the item and then wrap it up prettily and then I head straight to the post office, so the same day or the next business day. I use Canada Post which does not provide tracking unless you upgrade. Delivery standards to the US are 5-8 business days. International delivery standards are 6-12 business days. Please contact me if you want to upgrade your shipping in any way.
Additional policies and FAQs
