Exactly what I wanted. It looked even better in person. It was shipped quickly and well packaged so it wouldn't be damaged at all. Thank you so much!

Meghan McCrary

I am a graphic designer / maker currently working from my hometown of Knoxville, TN. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor Degree of Architecture. Architecture school turned out to be much different than working in an architecture office. I started missing working with my hands, building models, sketching, designing, working through a problem 100 times until I found the perfect solution. With the encouragement of my mom, I started my own business in 2010 making and selling paper items. It felt like architecture school again - working for hours on a new design that I just couldn't put down, thinking of a new product and problem solving so I could make the product as efficiently and cost effectively as possible, seeing a concept turn into a real thing from beginning to end.

When I started my business, I worked out of the back of my mom's hair salon with a table, a printer, and a cabinet full of paper. I worked after salon hours from 8pm until 4am and designed during the day. After a year, I moved my studio into a shed in my parents' backyard, then to an apartment, and later, into my very own house. My studio grew as my business grew. I started out just making paper items, and my business has since grown to include screen printed apparel, magnets, ornaments, mugs, temporary tattoos, and other gifts.

Growing up, I was always the pessimistic eye-roller of the family. My cynical greeting cards have become my most popular. You can probably also tell from my work that I love the south, puppy dogs, bright colors, confetti, and sweets.

My faithful sidekick, Lux, has become quite popular with my fans. I think some people only follow me on Instagram to see what she's up to every day. She's my muse and helps with production on occasion too!

I accept payment via Etsy's secure credit card checkout process.

Please contact me within 24 hours of placing your order if you'd like to cancel your transaction. Once I have shipped your item, no cancellation can be made. Production of your order will not start until I receive your payment.
Please check your shipping address carefully when checking out. Shipping labels are printed directly from Etsy with the address you list at check out. If your item is a gift, you may send it directly to the recipient by listing their address as the shipping address when checking out. If you need to change your shipping address, please contact me ASAP through ETSY only! If your order ships before I receive your message, no shipping refunds will be given.

All items are shipped within 7 days of ordering (except customized items). Check each listing to see an exact production time. I ship all orders First Class through the United States Post Office unless you choose to upgrade shipping. First Class packages to the US usually arrive within 2-5 days after shipment. International First Class packages take 2-6 weeks. If you choose to upgrade shipping, I will do my best to send your order out the next day. Shipping time frames depend on your location - areas closer to Tennessee will arrive sooner. If you have a hard deadline, please contact me to make sure your package will arrive on time (remember to send me your zip code for a more accurate time frame). You can track your order under "packages and reviews."

First Class shipping is not guaranteed to arrive in a specific amount of time and does not include insurance. If you would like to add insurance to your order, please contact me before making your purchase. Priority and Express mail include insurance up to $50. Most of my packages fit inside a standard mailbox. If you can not be home when the package arrives, and if you are not sure the package will be safe on your doorstep or in your mailbox, consider having the package sent to your office or a PO Box.

I am not responsible for lost or stolen packages. If you believe your package is lost or stolen, please check the tracking on your order. If the tracking says your package was delivered, but you have not received it, please check with the other members of your household, neighbors, and postal carrier. If you still can not find the package, you will need to file a complaint form with the post office. You can file this form online. You may need some information from me to file, and I'm happy to provide that for you. If you chose to upgrade your shipping to Priority or Express, I can file an insurance claim for the lost package for you.

If the tracking indicates that the package has not arrived yet, please let me know so I can keep an eye on it for you. During the holidays, packages may take longer than normal. In extreme cases if a package gets stuck in transit, I can intercept the package on my end and have it returned to me. In this instance, I would offer a replacement at no cost to you, or a refund (minus shipping costs).

In most cases (except for damaged items), I will not refund shipping costs. Those costs are not refunded to me once I ship your item, so unless the mistake is made on my end, I can not offer to refund shipping charges.

If your item arrives damaged, please send me a photograph of the damage. I will offer you a refund for the item or a replacement item. There will be no additional costs to you. I may ask you to return the damaged item, but I will refund the shipping once I receive the item.

If your package is returned to me because of an incorrect address, I will offer you the option for me to send it to a new address at your expense, or I can refund your money for the item minus the cost of shipping.

Custom or bulk orders require a longer production time. I will discuss the time frame with you before you purchase your order. If you would like a digital proof of your custom order, please approve the proof quickly to ensure the fastest production time possible.
Refunds and Exchanges
I want you to be happy with your purchase! If you would like to exchange your item or receive a refund, you may send your item back to me (at your expense) within 14 days of receiving your item. Use the return address on your package. Once it arrives undamaged, I will issue a refund for the cost of the item or send a replacement item. No shipping costs will be refunded, and you will need to pay the extra postage for the exchanged item to be mailed to you. Custom orders can not be exchanged or refunded.

Frequently asked questions

Discounts for bulk orders

Bulk order discounts are available for cards and postcards. Please send me a convo if you are interested in bulk pricing.

Gift wrapping and packaging

All items are package in cellophane and ready to give as a gift. Paper items are shipped sandwiched between something rigid to prevent damage during shipping.

If you are sending your item directly to someone as a gift, please indicate this in "notes to seller." I leave out all invoices and pricing on items given as gifts. I'll even attach a note - just tell me what it should say!

Custom and personalized orders

Paper items are printed to order and can be customized for an extra fee when you order in bulk (12 greeting cards / 10 postcards). I do not customize single cards. Magnets can also be customized for an extra fee but require 3 - 4 weeks production time. Sorry, screen printed apparel, towels, and totes can’t be customized because of the complicated process involved in making them. If you require a digital proof of your customized item, I must receive your payment before sending the proof. I will edit the design as many times as you'd like until it's exactly the way you want it. If you are absolutely not happy, I will refund your payment minus a $10-$20 design fee. Sorry, I no longer offer completely custom designs from scratch.

Shopping locally / local pick-up

I do not do meet-ups to allow local customers to purchase items. This gets to be too complicated especially during the holidays. But there are lots of great shops in Knoxville that carry my products, and I can drop off specific items for you to pick up at Nostalgia in Bearden - just send me a message!

Wholesale availability

I work with over 50 retailers nationwide. I'm also a proud member of the Etsy Wholesale community. If you aren't on Etsy Wholesale and you're a retailer interested in carrying my products, contact me for a list of wholesale prices.

Care instructions

Screen printed items can be machine washed and dried. Wash in cold water inside out to prevent shrinking.

Mugs are dishwasher and microwave safe, but for the best results, wash my hand to prevent color fading over time.

Paper items are printed in house on a professional ink jet printer at the highest quality setting. Paper items are cut, folded, and packaged by hand. Paper items are printed to order.

All screen printed apparel, totes, and towels are hand pulled by me. Screen printing is the least perfect method I use, so some variation will occur. All screen printed items listed in my shop are already made and ready to ship.

Fabric magnets and ornaments are designed and assembled by me. The fabric is printed by a small business in North Carolina. The fabric is stocked in my studio, but the magnets and ornaments are assembled to order.

Ethical Responsibilities

I take pride in the quality of my work. I check every product before packaging it. Because the quality of the product is more important to me than creating products cheaply and quickly, large orders may take longer for me to produce (especially wholesale orders). I carefully choose the highest quality papers and apparel. All of the paper I use is acid and lignen free. I try to use eco friendly products as much as possible. "Natural" paper products are made from 100% post consumer waste, and "natural" towels are not chemically processed, color treated, or bleached. All apparel is made in the USA by companies with strict labor regulations.

If you'd like me to make a donation to your charity, please let me know the specific items you'd like and how many. Please keep in mind that I work alone, and I make all of my items by hand. I can only produce small numbers. Sorry, I can't donate my time or money as I do not have much of either.
