Announcement    My packaging is EARTH-FRIENDLY, paper based, much is recycled.

I am finding that international deliveries are often very delayed because of international pandemic problems. I will therefore reluctantly not be able to accept that a package is lost until 25 working days has past, that is five weeks. That is the regulation from Royal Mail.

Sorry! But I will pack carefully and post as promptly as I can!

I am not registered for VAT for physical goods sales. However, you do need to pay VAT for digital sales.

About BygoneYarnyStuff

Sharing my collection of old textile and yarny patterns with you.

I have a large collection of old magazines, patterns and textiles dating back a hundred years which I would like to share with new generations of 'yarny' enthusiasts. I am also researching the old methods of knitting, and recreating traditional garments, especilly from my Cornish connections. This led me to re-create the old leather knitting belts, which are organic (nothing plastic), sustainable (new leather sourced from 'remainders' of larger projects) and totally hand-made.

A frantic knitter since childhood, I am never without a project on my needles. I love to design, create and research unique projects. In 2018 I learned that the maker of knitting belts on Shetland had passed away, and I began to market my own.
