May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us — yes, establish the work of our hands. -Psalm 90:17

'Miss Rumphius' was a book my mother used to read to me as a child. Maybe some magic in the text was imparted to me, but growing up, I felt a calling to do what I could to make the world a more beautiful place. I went so far as to get a degree in Landscape Architecture so that I could design beautiful and functional places. But what I learned was how to design. And this is where my love for jewelry and creating beautiful pieces began.

My story officially started 8 years ago when I was trying to find the right jewelry to wear to my brother-in-law's wedding. I was having absolutely no luck. But because I knew what I wanted, I set out to find the exact materials and fashioned my own accessories. Who knew I would receive so many compliments? All it took was one event to get the ball rolling from a hobby to a job!

I am very meticulous about the materials that I use for my jewelry, probably bordering on OCD. Not a single detail is overlooked in my production. Finishes, daily use, complimentary materials, the balance and feel of my pieces are all taken into consideration when I'm at the drawing board. Jewelry should make you feel special, empowered, decadent, and important, and I want those that wear these pieces to feel the love and passion I put into each one!

I am so grateful that Etsy gives me the opportunity to do what I love and to be the mother and wife I need to be. As I build my reputation, I am also laying stones for the foundation of my children: never overlook the small things, always give your all, go that extra mile when nobody is looking, and everything you do, do with love.

Living in the mountains and seeing the unadulterated beauty of nature has fueled my position on sustainability and environmental responsibility. Most of the packaging materials I use are post-consumer goods, and everything is recyclable. I am also trying to be equally involved in social responsibility, as I have a heart for both impoverished children and the children fighting childhood diseases, both locally and globally, as well as our troops. 15% of our sales go to the Wounded Warrior Project, No Kid Hungry, and St. Jude's because our servicemen and women should never feel they served in vain, and also because children should never have to experience cruelness in any form.

I am happy to replace the elastic in my stretch bracelets for as long as you wish to wear them regardless of the reason for breakage. Please include a check to cover the cost of return shipping in the package.

I do not automatically provide insurance when shipping your package. I am insured that it will arrive, but not for damage. If you wish to insure your package, please mention it at checkout. I will invoice you separately for the exact difference in cost.

United States Shipping:
I ship to all US addresses by USPS. Please provide a full street address or P.O. Box for shipping.
PAYPAL ORDERS: Please make sure the address on your PayPal account is your current accurate address.

International Shipping:
I ship internationally under the following conditions:

- I reserve the right to refuse to process any order or to refuse to ship to certain countries.

- Processing of international orders takes longer. Please allow 1-2 extra business days to accommodate this.

- Most orders are shipped by International First Class Mail. Delivery for most shipments is estimated by the US Post Office at 7-10 days. Although most parcels arrive in this time frame, there can be delays due to many factors including higher volume of mail, increased security concerns and time to clear customs. There have been instances of international parcels taking 3-4 weeks to arrive. I have no control over the postal services and therefore cannot guarantee arrival dates or give credit for delays in shipping.

- If your order does not arrive within 30 days, I can place a claim with the US Post Office for a lost parcel. Under US Postal regulations, this is the earliest I can ask for a claim inquiry. It can take an additional 30 days for the Post Office to investigate.

- Customs, Duty Tax and VAT - Your parcel may be subject to a customs, duty or VAT tax. The regulations concerning whether or not your order will apply vary by country and it is the obligation of the consumer to obtain information concerning these taxes and pay them if necessary. You can usually obtain this information by contacting your postal office or customs office. I will not falsify any information on the customs forms.

I take great care in packing your order to ensure its safe arrival.

If this is a gift, please note this in the comments and it will be specially wrapped for the occasion.
Additional policies and FAQs
Each piece we create will vary slightly in color from monitor to monitor. Our pictures are captured in a natural light to try and portray the piece as you would see it in front of you.

Custom Orders:
If you are liking what you see, but just can't find the right piece, we will happily take custom orders. Please contact us to let us know what you're looking for, and allow 3-6 weeks for allocating materials and construction. I require a $25 non-refundable deposit that will be used to cover the time it takes to create the piece, take photographs and come to a final design. There is no custom fee to switch a focal piece or metal, only to come up with a new design.

Bracelet sizing policy:
Accurate wrist measurement is incredibly important with bracelets for the best and most comfortable fit. The best way to measure your wrist is with a fabric tape measure. The measurement should be taken at the smallest part of the wrist between the hand and wrist bone. If you don't have a fabric tape measure, you can use string and a ruler. You will need to wrap the string around your wrist and measure it. After you measure it, cut it to the length you measured. Wrap it around again and make sure that it is a perfect (not loose) fit. If it is loose and overlaps, cut again and double check, then send me the final measurement.

If the measurements you provide are not accurate, or if this is a gift and you are not able to provide exact measurements, I will be happy to adjust the size for a fee of $15 (shipping is included). If it is a leather bracelet and the length needs to be extended, there will be a fee of $25 to cover the extra cost of silver and materials.
