We offer "ByLightOfMoon" as our Handmade and Supplies Items Shoppe for my Mother and me.

My Mom (Rosemary) loves to sew, quilt, cook and read. She has done “Handmade” all my life as I grew up. She handmade our Christmas front door every year from oilcloth and felt embellishments I remember and throughout the year dabbled in this and that crafting. She has always knitted and crocheted and sewed my clothes as a child along with garage sale attending. She started antiquing and tole painting in the 1960's on all our furniture, moved to intensive china painting in the 1970's thru 1990's, took up quilting, and enjoys quilting with appliqué work now in her 80's. She has always loved to read. She has made "Rosemary's Handbags" here. My Mom is not much on the computer so we share this site as a collective Shoppe.

I am Mixed Media Altered Art artist. I am always collecting items (really, I am a pack-rat) and use Recycled, Vintage, Reuse, Redo, and may incorporate some new materials now and then as a finishing edge for quality in my items. I like to Recycle, Up-cycle, and shop Charity Thrift stores. I now spend most of my time in the forest since I can now walk right out my front door to where we used to drive hours to vacation too. I love country living and the Nantahala Forest surrounds me in North Carolina. I am a lover of my imagination along with dragonflies, fairies, elves, hobbits, gnomes, sprites, mermaids, a magical world of fairy tales.

My husband retired and we moved to the mountains in North Carolina where I fell more in love with the forest than ever before. We live in the Nantahala Forest in a small cabin and I spend much time in the woods lurking, collecting, and photographing nature items.

I just started offering my Photograph! I love taking photos of country settings!I offer photographs of: Nature, Country, Forest, Rusty Crusty ,Flowers, Barns, Wishing Wells, Tire Swings, Farm Equipment, Insects, Dragonflies, Vintage Logging, Street Signs, Mushrooms, Spider Webs, Unusual, Deer, Butterflies, Collage, Collection, Take a Look!

I now offer Live and Dried Forest Nature Natural Items; moss, dried mushrooms, tree knots, lichen, specialty North Carolina stones. and a variety of nature samplers for Curiosity boxes, Shadow Boxes or your own mossy gardens where you make your own magic, etc. for sale in my Supplies section.
