Announcement   Welcome to my fascination of textiles.

All textiles are either handwoven, dyed and - or folded by me at my studio in Copenhagen. I like to work with sophisticated materials which gives a sense of another tactility when touch. When weaving which is a big part of my identity, I like to work in new and different kinds of yarns I have found at special yarn manufactors around the world.
My weaving process is slowly, as I like to take the time to develop new structures and dye the yarns myself.

I am inspired and moved by the little things that may go unnoticed in my everyday surroundings, and all things indigo, natural and organic.

I accept PayPal (and bank transfers from buyers in Denmark), and ship to anywhere.

Beautiful shibori itajime of high quality with inside lining in an equally lovely indigo striped cotton. A perfect match showing great workmanship.

About

My fascination is the material and have always been.

I used to daydream when beeing a child.

Today I'm sitting in my studio and I'm still dreaming. Dreaming about the different kinds of yarns - tactility and shades.

At my studio in Copenhagen I have two looms. An old wooden floor loom and a more modern computerrised loom. They both have there own spirit and two different ways of working with them.
My weaving process is slowly, as I like to take the time to develop new structures and dye the yarns myself.

I am inspired and moved by the little things that may go unnoticed in my everyday surroundings, and all things indigo, natural and organic.

Welcome to my little corner of Etsy.

All of my textiles are either handwoven by me in yarns I have selected around the world. Paperyarn from Japan, stainless steel from Belgium, polyester monofilament from Germany, ...
The yarns are either dyed by me or from the manufactor.
Or folded by me in the old japanese itajime- and mokume shibori technique. Then dyed and therefore I can't guarantee if they change in use over the time, but this I believe is part of the charm by buying handmade items.

I hope you will find pleasure in the textiles you have selected.
