Announcement   Once I owned a computer that was not as well behaved as I would have liked. After several talented people tried unsuccessfully to fix it, I decided it was time to cut my losses. I learned how to safely take the recalcitrant computer to bits for recycling. I got part way through taking out approximately 300 screws of at least 5 different types when it happened…

OOOH!!! PRETTY!!

Oh dear. Now I have a new hobby!

My creations are comprised of parts of computers, random paperclips, ornament hangers, broken jewelry, wire, epoxy, and anything else not nailed down. Sources range from my bottom drawer to the thrift store. Tiny tools are among my newest fascinations, and my co-workers don’t dare complain about malfunctioning equipment for fear I'll lapse into my addiction to re-purposing. Which I can stop anytime I want. really!!!

Such fun. A charming fish in a computer pond. Well made with strong magnet. Will be a marvelous good time to have on the fridge.

Once there was a computer that was not as well behaved, as I would have liked. After several attempts on the part of several talented people to fix it, it was decided that the time had come to cut my losses, and give up. One of them showed me how to safely take it to bits so as to recycle most of it. I got part way through taking out approximately 300 screws of at least 5 different types when it happened…

There are parts of computers, random paperclips, a few ornament hangers, random broken jewelry found anywhere from my bottom drawer to the thrift store, wire, epoxy, and anything else not nailed down. I have a newfound love of tiny tools, and my co-workers don’t dare complain about malfunctioning equipment for fear of my new addiction to re-purposing. Which I can stop anytime I want. really!!!
