Traditional Stitches with a Modern Twist

Sewing and needlepoint have always been a part of my life, and were handed down to me by my mother and grandmothers. I have fond memories of sitting next to my mom while she sat behind her machine making clothing for my sisters and I, or sewing projects for around the house. She would assign me projects to keep my little three-year-old fingers busy, like sewing buttons onto old socks, or sitting on her lap helping to feed fabric through the machine. Both of my grandmothers came from farming/homesteading backgrounds where stitching was an important part of their lives even into old age. I still have a treasured cross stitch my maternal grandmother made for me when I was a little girl, and remember working on satin stitches with my dad's mom. Stitching on my own became a habit in college when I started to have nephews and nieces and made them birth records from kits I bought at the craft store. I started to realize how much I enjoyed doing the work and how much more satisfying it could be if I created my own designs and made pieces that were completely unique.

My shop exists because of my love for the craft. I am so happy to have a way to share my designs with you. I hope they bring you as much joy as they have brought to my life.

All of my products are made with care and high-quality supplies. They are made to last and become treasures you can share with those around you.
