Bonnie Griffith, pastels, Walla Walla pastel artist

Walla Walla, Washington 0 Sales On Etsy since 2009

Announcement   Welcome to my shop! You will find original pastels, giclee prints, monotypes and acrylic paintings for sale.
I am an artist, living in the northwest US, painting representational/impressionistic works of the area Most of my work is landscape, however, I do portrait commissions (as well as landscape commissions). My monotypes are more abstract in nature and I often work in only black and white or very limited color palette.
I invite you to view my blog -bgriffithatcrookedcreekarts [!at] blogspot.com and my web site www.bonnie griffith.com
I also have a love for collages and create them on occasion utilizing art stamps, found items and a variety of papers and gourd pieces.
The pastels are shipped unframed, taped to foam core for protection and with foam core covering the painting as well. Pastels can be easily destroyed with a swipe of a hand, so take care in removing the protective coverings. Some "drifting" of pastel dust is common, even once the piece is framed. A very light fixative is sprayed on the finished piece, but because the fixative alters the color, please note that this is a VERY light spray.
Enjoy the shop!

The pastels are shipped matted, fixed to a piece of foam core and then with spacers in place, covered with another sheet of foam core. Because of the nature of pastels, you will want to frame it or have it professionally framed ASAP to prevent damage to the image.
