Generally there are not any special care instructions for my items. I wash my cloth napkins and kitchen towels with the rest of my kitchen linens (same with washcloths - I put them in with my other washcloths and bath towels) and they have held up just fine.
The one exception - if you're ordering an item that has a decoration, please only iron the decoration from the reverse side. This helps to protect the decoration as well as your iron!

I'm happy to send items in gift packaging. Just mark the item as a gift when ordering and I'll make sure they arrive looking extra-great!

I fabric shop mainly at outlets and secondhand sales. This helps keep my prices reasonable and is more sustainable than ordering custom fabric or shopping new. This also means that once I'm out of a print, I might be completely out of it unless I can find it again and restock.

Everything is washed with fragrance- and dye-free detergent to prepare it for cutting and sewing (and to pre-shrink the fabric).

Trims and notions are sourced the same way whenever possible, and if I have to buy them online I look for products made in the USA. If pre-washing them is feasible I do that, otherwise I cut the trims large enough to allow for shrinkage.

I create my own patterns and do my own graphic designs and printing.
