It was lovely. My mom, a retired farmer, loved it because it looked like a beloved sheep she had in the '80s.

Passion for art and illustration
I opened my Etsy shop back in 2010. I have Irish ancestry and love the myths and legends of the Emerald Isle.
I am a self-taught artist creating from a studio in the Chiltern Hills area of Buckinghamshire, England where I live with family and two rescued kitties. Bob is a huge black and white tomcat and pretty Ruby is just that, a titchy tortie and white with a predilection for mischief. I am lucky to be surrounded by gorgeous hills, woods, fields and ancient villages which all lend themselves to inspiring my art.
I love creating bright and beautiful art, sometimes colourful and sometimes monochrome. I particularly enjoy drawing with my lovely (and expensive) rapidograph pens and often adding touches of watercolour. Sometimes I colour my work digitally. I suppose my work tends more to the illustration side of art. I adore fine detail and can spend many hours, days and weeks on a single piece of work. I love creating contemporary ladies with pretty frocks and strange headdresses and nearly all my art has bird life and trees in the composition. Animals, birds and the natural world informs the majority of my work but I also draw inspiration from landscape, buildings, folk-lore and mythology. I am definitely drawn to the stylised, quirky and whimsical aspects of art.
I pay great attention to customer service and prompt shipping and I enjoy interaction with my customers. I am happy to do custom artworks in my styles.
I hope you enjoy your visit to my shop and if there is anything more you would like to know, please contact me.
