3 out of 5 starsThe forks are nice. Unfortunately they were all messed up in the box when they arrived. I think it needed some packing on the inside to keep it all from moving around. They won't be any good to keep in the box but it won't stop me from using them. My main issue was the shipping . I purchased in mid January. In mid Feb I has still received no shipping information. After messaging twice on etsy I posted to the seller's page on Facebook. She finally replied saying the item had been posted but she had forgotten to update Etsy. When I received the package today (March 2nd) I check and the date sent on the postage information was Feb 13th. she must have sent it straight after I got in contact via facebook. Thankfully it was only 2 weeks from that date to get here which is quite good France to Australia.

5 out of 5 starsIt is so much fun to use the vintage French laces for decoration and displays. I am so glad I found this wonderful shop.

Vintage Treasures from France to Your Home
I love nothing better than to head out on Sunday mornings to search for treasures. I started out collecting trims and buttons for my paper crafts, many of which you'll find in my shop. I love it when I come upon a stash of buttons or trims that obviously came from a crafty woman's home. Much of the time they come wound onto, or stitched to pieces of cardboard, and in my mind, I am taken instantly to their sewing nook
We dream of owning a stone farmhouse one day, and so I am always looking for furniture, decor and kitchen items with which to one day furnish it. In the meantime you'll find a good selection of those in my shop for your own home.
Curating the items in my shop is truly a pleasure for me. I don't purchase anything that I don't love myself, and everything I bring home is something that I felt some kind of connection to.
I marvel at the history behind these seemingly forgotten objects. I meticulously research each item before I list it, and I have learnt a lot about French history and culture in doing so.
It's my pleasure to share this with you, and to rescue these treasures and send them off to new homes so they can tell new stories.

I've been living in France for just over eleven years & I fell in love with the flea markets. Known as Vide Greniers, Brocantes or Marche aux Puces, thrifting is a way of life for my family, & how we primarily furnish and decorate our home.
