O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!

Callooh Callay is all about the joy of discovery--that moment when you round the corner at the flea market and find the perfect Art Deco statue, or antique pottery vase, or carved wood piece. I bring an eclectic mix, culled from my personal collection, from sales from around the world, and from clients.

In more than ten years selling on Etsy, I've sent an Olive Oyl marionette to a toy museum in South Korea; cocktail hats for weddings in New Zealand; rustic wood carvings to downtown Manhattan; teacups to Kuwait; and mannequins to the south of France.

Callooh Callay offers a changing selection of vintage and antique items, including art pottery, cameras, hats, books, toys, housewares, jewelry, architectural salvage, and home decor. Please feel free to browse around and ask any questions. You never know when you might find the perfect thing.

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Items on sale
Returns and exchange details
• To return an item, contact me within 3 days of delivery for instructions (14 days in EU countries). Items must be well packed, with tracking and insurance, and shipped back within 7 days of delivery.
• Any initial shipping charges are non-refundable, including for items purchased with free shipping. Items purchased with free shipping will have the actual shipping cost subtracted from any refund.
• Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
Shipping
I generally ship via U.S. Postal Service within 1 to 3 business days of receiving payment. For your protection and mine, shipping costs include insurance.

International buyers are responsible for paying any applicable customs fees, taxes, or duties in their respective countries. Please also be aware of your country's individual laws regarding imports; I may not be held responsible for any item held by customs.

I will combine shipping prices for purchases on multiple items. If the price for combining isn't already specified, you can contact for an estimate or I'll refund the overage (if any) after purchase.

The customer is responsible for providing a deliverable shipping address. If an order is returned due to incorrect address or failure to claim at destination by buyer, I will contact the buyer before reshipping it, and the buyer will be responsible for any additional shipping costs.

I often use recycled boxes and clean packing material. Let me know if that's a problem.

DAMAGED ITEMS
If an item arrives damaged, you must keep the item and package as originally received and contact me immediately. If the packaging is not retained, no claim can be filed and no refund will be given. Reimbursement will be made once the insurance carrier has settled the claim.
Privacy
This Privacy Policy describes how and when I collect, use, and share information when you purchase an item from my shop, CalloohCallay.etsy.com; contact me; or otherwise use my services through Etsy.com or its related sites and services. This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of third parties that I do not own or control, including Etsy or any third party services you access through Etsy. Information I Collect: To fulfill your order, you must provide me with certain information (which you authorized Etsy to provide to me), such as your or your gift receiver’s name, email address, postal address, payment information, and the details of the product that you’re ordering. Why I Need Your Information and How I Use It: I collect, use, and share your information only in the following circumstances:
•As needed to provide my services, such as fulfilling your order, settling disputes, or providing customer support

Etsy: I share information with Etsy as necessary to provide you my services and comply with my obligations under both the Etsy Seller Policy and Etsy Terms of Use.

Service providers: I engage certain trusted third parties to provide services to my shop, such as U.S. Postal Service and other delivery companies; and ShipSurance (for postage insurance). I will share your personal information with these third parties, but only to the extent necessary to perform these services.

Any item that costs more than $100 can be placed in layway and paid off in three installments, with timing determined by mutual agreement. Please contact me if you're interested in working something out.
