5 out of 5 starsLike the description states, the mug is very ergonomic and fits perfectly in my hand while sipping. I find the texture and mouth feel at the brim to be reminiscent of a Japanese tea cup and it feels good and relaxing. A medicinal mug for a medicinal beverage just what the doc ordered!

5 out of 5 starsI love this beautiful mug! The texture and paint style tickle my fancy. I brewed a ceremonial first cup of green tea, and gave it to my good friend. Sharing is caring : )

5 out of 5 starsAdore this mug. The handle is a little smaller than I had expected. But it more than compensates for that in everything else. The perfect size and shape for the brews I have in mind. Also, it doesn’t seem to get too hot to hold on the outside. Totally, yes absolutely, thrilled with the swirls. Not to mention, the delicate off-color on the inside (instead of the usual pristine white that I am not too fond of). On the whole, a charming piece.

5 out of 5 starsThis is the most gorgeous mug. I’ve just received it and have already received compliments. I couldn’t be more pleased. Also, along with the mug came another gorgeous cup, which I adore. Thank you!

I'm a multidiciplinary artist that makes one-of-a-kind ceramic tableware out of Brooklyn, New York.
I grew up in Boston and studied photography officially, although I was always interested in working in clay. I took a few classes on the side whenever I could. After graduating, I worked in the photography industry as a fine art printer, retoucher, a freelance photographer. Shortly after I moved to New York, the ceramics world pulled me back in, and I have been selling my work ever since. I love designing and using functional artwork, I find it incredibly satisfying.
Water is a huge influence in my work; I think you can see that peeking out in the colors I use in my designs. I started swimming when I was very young. I have always lived near the water, in Boston and now Brooklyn. In the summer, I spend as much time as possible on a lake in Maine.

I recommend hand washing and and I would avoid prolonged soaking of unglazed pieces. I use food safe, lead free glazes unless otherwise noted in the description. Dirt and stains on unglazed surfaces can be removed with a scrubby pad or a wire brush and a bit of baking soda.
