Announcement
My products always come informally wrapped in kraft paper and red twine at no extra cost. If you purchase multiple items, let me know if you need them wrapped individually.
For my people, the makers and the pilots of the world, I construct bags, work aprons, and tool rolls using natural, sturdy materials. I use only waxed and plain canvas and fine natural-fiber fabrics (but no leather). Designs come from classic sewn equipment such as the sailor's ditty bag, the woodworker's tool roll, and the incredible array of military canvas goods produced by factories full of working women for the war effort of World War II. As a one-person shop with a full schedule, I am not able to do custom work.

5 out of 5 starsBest tool roll I've seen and was even better when it arrived. Tough material for my steel chisels and made very well.

5 out of 5 starsExtremely well made and very roomy. Fits my full 12-piece set of bench chisels plus a few others. Note that I added some simple leather covers to some of the larger blades (razor sharp). If you're looking for the perfect way to safely store and transport your chisels, you have found it!

5 out of 5 starsI purchased this for my fiancee's jewelry making tools. She loves it! The details that went into making this tool roll are very impressive and will undoubtedly stand the test of time. The 16-pocket version is quite large, so there's room to grow with no question of being able to fit everything you need into it. Overall, this is an amazing product, and the shipping/correspondence with the maker was quick and professional. I'm definitely going to buy myself one in the future.

Practicality and good looks
I'm a bit of a tomboy, with a degree in geology/geography. I've ridden motorcycles, been a mapmaker, contemplated becoming a camp cook, built a straw-bale house and a log house, worked in a greenhouse. I ride a recumbent trike and am thinking of taking flying lessons. Frilly doesn't suit me. The fabrics I choose are meant to proudly and confidently go outside.
Frequently I get ideas from canvas gear that survives from World War II. They didn't use plastic in those days so I resist it in my own designs.
Except for the Camp Robber Air stickers, I don't outsource any of my design or production. My husband John assists with critiques and with setting up my equipment. A significant portion of my supplies comes from other Etsy sellers.

Gift wrapping and packaging
All orders are wrapped informally with kraft paper and tied with either red cotton twine or natural hemp twine, as available.
Care instructions
Waxed canvas should never be washed because that will remove the wax. Instead, hose it off, damp wipe it, vacuum it, or brush it. Eventually the wax will become worn and should be reapplied (a simple process).
White cotton canvas will become "dirty" - there is no way around that! I suggest that you embrace this natural process! Contact me if you would like me to pre-grubby a white canvas item by rubbing blacksmith's coal on it.
Custom and personalized orders
Not available.
Sizing details
Apron sizes correspondent reasonably closely to men's tee shirt sizing.
Items lost in mail
If postal tracking indicates a package has been delivered, and it is addressed to the address the buyer gave me, and in spite of all this you have not received the package, contact your post office. I take no responsibility for refunding or replacing the item.
