Announcement Find my most up-to-date work on Instagram @jessica.canales. Here you'll find my ink and watercolor sketches of booze, hot sauce, and other "colorful" things. I also have sections for prints of pencil drawings and a whole separate shop for prints and originals of pastel paintings ( www.JessCanalesFineArt.etsy.com ). ...because I'm a flitter and have a short attention span.

I'm a fan of Jessica's art and when she came out with these citrus sketches I couldn't make a choice so ended up with all three! Prompt delivery and beautiful art to hang in my house, couldn't ask for more.

She is amazing!!! Initially I wanted two of my five houses sketched in time for Christmas (I contacted her about two weeks before Christmas because I'm a procrastinator like that😬) but she was able to get all FIVE of them done in about a week. She is so fun and easy to work with. She responded very promptly to any questions I had. On one of my houses I only had a google earth picture of it, but she totally nailed it...crappy photo and all. I highly recommend her.

I love it. Absolutely love it! The colors, the composition, the brush strokes -- it looks beautiful in my kitchen. Thanks, canales!
I just like drawing stuff around me.
I like to draw what I see. There's just so much great stuff around and I want to draw it all! I love to sketch while out and about, but I rarely have the opportunity to stop everything and draw. Instead, I find stuff around my house and make my own little still lifes. Ok, yes, it's often alcohol related. The bottles are pretty! I swear there are other things in my house than booze. Most of it isn't even mine. I swear. More and more though, I'm painting pictures of the beautiful scenery of the Pacific Northwest, or bikes, or kid's toys... really, inspiration is everywhere.
I've got some nice black pens, an ever-growing collection of watercolor tubes, and mountains of paper. I usually work in sketchbooks, but sometimes on loose sheets. I got myself a killer scanner so I can tweak stuff in Photoshop as needed and I just got an awesome printer I use to make really quality prints of the work I do in sketchbooks.
I hope one or two of my pictures makes you smile, perhaps remembering those wacky nights in college before hangovers became a real. damn. thing. Or perhaps there is something here that will make your kids happy to see on his or her wall. Art is for everyone and I'm happy to share mine with you!
I post much of my latest work, experiments, and ideas on Instagram. I'm @jessica.canales.
I'm Jessica Marie Canales. I'm named for my Grandpa (he was Jess, not Jessica) and my Grandma (her middle name is also Marie, like 93% of women born in the US in the 20th century). If I got to name myself, I'd be Halona. Friends would call me Hal.

Returns and exchange details
Transactions will be canceled if payment is not received within two days of purchase.
Each print or painting (9x12" or smaller) will be shipped flat as follows:
-Your artwork will be placed in a clear plastic bag with a thick piece of cardstock for support.
-This will be sandwiched between two pieces of corrugated cardboard, likely recycled from my Amazon boxes. Recycling!
-The whole thing will be put inside a snazzy yellow/orange envelope and taped shut so nobody even thinks about sneaking a peak.
-I'll throw on some stickers so that the mail folks know to keep it flat. But come on. With all that cardboard in there, they'd have to put it in a sheet metal press to bend it.
If you have any particular shipping needs, just let me know.
