Candace did a great job with this communion set, which has the UMC's Reconciling Ministry Network's logo on each peace. The quality of each piece is excellent, the finish superb and she completed my custom order in the promised time, delivering the set well-packed and even a few days early! She also sent pics of her progress, which was a fun and interactive way to watch her do her magic. Thanks, Candace!

About

Candace McCollough, Connection through Vessels

As a member of the Atlanta Clay Works, formerly Cabbagetown Clay and Glassworks, one has the freedom and the support to pursue any form of clay work one chooses.

I choose to mainly create and design vessels. It is satisfying and rewarding to help people find a special and unique resting or holding place for their loved ones. I was influenced to pursue this when I myself was in search of an unique and artfully-produced vessel.

The raku firing takes place in my back yard. I use a low-budget kiln with a portable burner. Colleagues are always eager to help with the process which can be exhilarating and awe-inspiring. No two pieces are ever identical.
