The Candle Confectionery Morsels

I started in the show/festival circuit back in 2003 with just wax dipped teddy bears. They were a huge success. The show circuit can be pretty tough having to deal with travel, weather, local, etc. So I decided to expand with an online presence, Ugly Duckling Designs. Ugly Duckling Designs is more of a primitive type candle shop. The website was a huge success. I added a wholesale division to be able to furnish retail shops with my products and it really took off.

Then I found Etsy a few years back and opened up a second division of my candle company and that's how Candle Confectionery was born. I loved primitives but wanted to really amp up my business by including bakery goodies as well.

I love the creative side of being in business. Getting to develop new items, new scents, and satisfying our customers with one of kind goodies.
