A few years ago I would have never thought of myself as the "crafty" type but I swear it just hit me one day. Maybe it was the motherly role taking over ;)

I've bounced around in my crafts and love doing each of them for different reasons, but I've noticed a trend in most all of the crafts. Anything I do I like it to be BRIGHT and COLORFUL. And just looking at it sometimes reminds me of ... candy! Yum. And my nick-name is Andie, perfect pair!

Most of my crafts I made for myself first - filling a need or a want on a small-ish budget. Making earrings was just something for me, I couldn't afford earrings of all colors and styles but I could take some time handpainting and making my own just how I liked them. I gave some as gifts, sold to those who asked about them, and decided I wanted to share these made-with-love earrings to other people looking for some good quality fun earrings.

Making wreaths came about the same way, except I only made one for myself and then gave as Christmas gifts to friends and family last year. I just love picking out the next color or holiday themed wreath fabric that can brightly display a warm welcome. I wish I had enough room to keep all the wreaths I've made, I love them all with all that I've put into them!

I hope to share some joy and brightness in your life with these crafts. For that's what life is about right? Amidst all that is going around, it's always nice to add brightness somewhere.
