This artist is 2nd to none. I continue to be blown away with the product I purchase. Every single stitch is perfect and put in with love. Candy cares about each and every piece tremendously. She consults with the buyer to assure it is done to the closest possible style and expectation of the customer. As a side note, she is one of those people in life, who makes you feel good about yourself and your life. A true angel.

These monkeys are absolutely adorable and perfect for what I needed! Candy went above and beyond what I could have expected in making sure I was absolutely happy with the monkeys, and she even rushed my order to make sure I got them on time. I would definitely order from her again... a very talented and very sweet artist!

Candy is simply wonderful. She has brought me so many smiles as I walk by her work hanging in my home. I am a forever customer of Candykins! She writes the sweetest notes to you when you receive your order, which my daughter can't wait to read (nor can I). The handmade piece arrives on time with our newest memory made into a masterpiece! Candy has become "part of the family".

This is a very beautiful handmade brooch. It was posted off very quickly in time for Christmas, with lovely communication from Candy.

So very happy with the fantastic work Candy did on this piece in memory of my grandson.
Cute and quirky hand embroidered delights!
I grew up with a mother and grandmother who loved to create, and who passed on some of their skills, knowledge, and their "mend and make do" attitude to me. As a teenager, in a large family rather short on funds, I fell in love with op-shopping (thrift shopping) and upcycling as a way of expressing my individuality. My first major experimentation with embroidery as a way of expressing myself was on a pair of thrifted red vintage capri pants. These are now hanging on my studio wall (see if you can spot them in the photo above!)
I am drawn to the quirky, the kawaii, and the kitsch. I design and create embroidered wool felt brooches and gadget cases, embroidery hoop art, and miniature embroidered jewellery.
My hoop art specialty is the kids artwork embroidery, where I transfer your child's artwork into hand embroidered wall art.

I love creating products that add a pop of colour and texture to your life. My favourite things include jumping in puddles with my daughter and son, looking up at the stars on a clear night, spending hours in op shops, and reading Jane Austen novels.
