Cute and quirky hand embroidered delights!

I grew up with a mother and grandmother who loved to create, and who passed on some of their skills, knowledge, and their "mend and make do" attitude to me. As a teenager, in a large family rather short on funds, I fell in love with op-shopping (thrift shopping) and upcycling as a way of expressing my individuality. My first major experimentation with embroidery as a way of expressing myself was on a pair of thrifted red vintage capri pants. These are now hanging on my studio wall (see if you can spot them in the photo above!)

I am drawn to the quirky, the kawaii, and the kitsch. I design and create embroidered wool felt brooches and gadget cases, embroidery hoop art, and miniature embroidered jewellery.
My hoop art specialty is the kids artwork embroidery, where I transfer your child's artwork into hand embroidered wall art.

I love creating products that add a pop of colour and texture to your life. My favourite things include jumping in puddles with my daughter and son, looking up at the stars on a clear night, spending hours in op shops, and reading Jane Austen novels.

Returns and exchanges
If, for some reason, you are unhappy with your purchase, please let me know. If you want a refund, the onus will be on you to pay postage to return the item to me, but I will refund the original payment through Paypal.
I can accept Paypal or credit card payments. If you would rather pay through direct deposit, please contact me and I will let you know if I am willing to set up this method of payment.

If you have requested a custom order, I will send you a message through conversations as soon as the listing is online. Please note that payment is required before I can ship the item.

If you have requested a reserved listing, I will send you a message as soon as the reserved listing is online. Please make the purchase within 3 days of listing, or I will re-list the item.

Please note, all my prices are listed and quoted in AU$.
All items will be shipped via Australia Post regular parcel post (in a padded bag or slim box with plastic bubble wrap inside). All international shipping will be via airmail. If you wish to have postal insurance, or registered (trackable) post, please convo me before purchasing, and I will create a reserved listing for you that reflects these upgraded postage choices.

I charge exact shipping on all my items. Please note, I am not charging for the packaging or for handling, just purely for the cost of postage. Australia Post has flat rates for different countries, up to a certain limit (for example, up to 50g for a letter sized parcel, like for my brooches, or up to 250g for a parcel, like for my hoop art), so please note that the price of $0 for 'with additional item' is limited to items that meet that weight bracket requirement. As my items are generally small and/or light, they should generally meet this requirement if you are buying a few. However, if they do not (for example, if you are buying a large quantity), I will contact you and let you know before proceeding, as postage costs almost double with the next weight bracket.

If postage turns out to be less than you paid, I will refund the difference via Paypal, if the difference is more than AU$0.50

International customers please note that unfortunately, I cannot cover the costs of any customs fees charged in your country. These are therefore your own responsibility. Thank you for understanding!
