Announcement   canfieldcreations & The Yarn Patch is located inside Silver Dollar City, an 1880's Theme Park. This on-line venue was started years ago, and Cindy Collins Canfield (me) continues to create. Thank you for taking time to view my shop. I love making art objects, especially useful ones.

Weavings, Paintings, Pottery, All Things Creative! Lately I have been focused on the fiber arts, using my looms. Some are available for purchase.
I battled cancer and am now living proof that determination, and perseverance pays off. Making art is therapeutic, but the real rewards are seeing others love my work as much as I enjoy making it.

Quite often I take throw-away items like torn sheets, or clothing and recycle them into useful woven objects. I make only one-of-a-kind pieces unless it's a set, and I design most of my patterns.

I have a weaving studio that showcases my work and provides a venue for selling it at Silver Dollar City, near Branson Missouri. I have been the demonstrating weaver at The Branson Mill, also. I taught art to over 600 elementary children per year and loved it! I retired in May of 2012 and have been creating full-time, ever since. I have taught art to all ages, but especially enjoyed the innocence and imagination of the younger ones. That was my 29th year.

When I grow up I want to be an artist, teacher, or weaver. Well, I guess I can say I am fully grown! Well, maybe not! Everyone has to grow, and I continually grow and learn as I create and meet new people. I am living my dream! Being able to create everyday and share my craft with new onlookers is a wonderful life and I am fortunate to live it! Recently, my husband John, of 29 years has joined my shop! He is the financier and accountant! My oldest daughter, Clara SeLeena C has graduated college and also demonstrates weaving in our shop. Our middle child Johnell, is headed to college and our youngest can be seen winding yarn, helping customers and even weaving on any given day.

Thanks again, for looking at my shop. If I can answer any questions, or you would like a custom made piece please feel free to contact me. I recently added over 7,000 bundles of yarn from 50 cents bargain yarn to upper end naturals, handspun to my shop for sale.

Artist-Cindy Collins Canfield, that's me, says,"THANK YOU" for visiting my art shop!

If you would like to see me in person (or a family member) creating, please stop by canfieldcreations & The Yarn Patch located inside the theme park: Silver Dollar City near Branson, Missouri where I will be demonstrating weaving. I look forward to sharing with you my craft. Thanks again, for stopping in and checking out my creations!

Cindy is incredibly nice and creates really special items. These projects are obviously a labor of love for her. I recommend her shop and her work highly.

Thank you for viewing my shop. I make only one-of-a-kind items unless it is a set. I am passionate about creating and count it a privilege to make utilitarian items for people. When you purchase an item from me I am honored, as I love to make things, but the real reward for me is to see someone enjoy using them.
