About CantonBoxCompany
How the Canton Box Company got its start...
Hello...we're Angie & Tyson Lamielle. We met and fell in love when we were teenagers in the small farm town in Ohio. We were married on May 28, 2005 and bought a small house in Canton, Ohio. After we bought the house, we realized we had nothing to put in it...not even curtains on the windows. So we had to start from scratch. With no budget to work with, we decided to make our own home furnishings.
Angie has a background in graphic design and Tyson has background in construction. Using those skills we started to fill our home. We both work full time jobs and were looking for a creative outlet, so we decided to start making home furnishings and gifts for others to fill their homes.
We love working with wood, paper and fabric and collaborate with each other as much as possible. We're also big fans of the forest, so we've never cut a tree down to make any of our woodworking products. All of our lumber comes from fallen trees or reclaimed timbers out of old barns and buildings.
We're proud of our handmade products and hope you like them as much as we do.
