A gorgeous piece. Bought it has a Christmas gift for a friend and she can't stop using it. Perfect cup for a hot drink.

I love this item! It is the second product I have purchased from Canyon Street Pottery and I have been very pleased with both of them. It is solid and high quality, and the design is beautiful. I use it as a diffuser for essential oils. It spreads the scent evenly through the room. Also, the pattern that it casts on the wall when a candle is lit inside is gorgeous. All my guests have commented on how beautiful it is. Very happy!

Love this! I use it to burn incense and palo santo sticks in. It shipped very quickly and was well-packaged and protected. I am very happy with it and I'm looking forward to finding other unique items from this store in the future.

About

A Hobby That Grew Into Something More

I started Canyon Street Pottery in Spearfish, South Dakota in 2006 after being introduced to pottery in a high school art class. I enjoyed throwing so much that I invested in a wheel and kiln to continue making my own pottery at home. Soon, I had enough skill and pottery to open my own business–Canyon Street Pottery.

My initial goal was to support my new hobby (and possibly earn money for college) while doing something that I loved. Soon, my siblings started to make and sell their own pieces along with me. People loved our work enough for us to continue making pottery and even save up a bit of money.

I continued doing pottery through college and moves across the country, returning home every summer to sell my work at the annual Festival in the Park. Though I do still sell some of my work in South Dakota, Canyon Street Pottery is now located in Zeeland, Michigan. I hope to continue to share my love of unique and quality pottery, albeit with a new audience.

Canyon Street Pottery is family business located in Zeeland, MI. Our goal is to provide unique and quality pottery at an affordable price.

We create all of our pottery by hand to ensure that each piece is truly one of a kind. Most of our pottery is wheel-thrown stoneware, such as bowls, mugs, pie plates, and a variety of specialty items like chip-and-dips or wine buckets. We want our pottery to be used every day, so almost all of our pottery is oven, microwave, dishwasher, freezer, and food safe.

Accepted payment methods

  • Accepts Etsy gift cards
Payment
Canyon Street Pottery accepts direct checkout via Etsy and PayPal from all users. Local buyers will have the option of using a check, credit, or cash.
Shipping
Almost all of our pottery is shipped via USPS within three business days of your order, meaning that you should receive your order within a week (barring special orders, irregular packages, or international shipments). If the shipping costs less than what you paid, we will refund you the extra amount as soon as the item is shipped. If it costs more, we will gladly absorb the expense.

We do not automatically insure packages under $25, but we do provide shipping confirmations and tracking numbers. If you would like a package delivered sooner or have insurance added, please let us know before purchasing the item.
Refunds and Exchanges
We want you to be happy with your pottery purchase! If you're not completely satisfied, we will gladly refund you the original price of the item and, if in the US, we will also refund the original shipping price. You will be responsible for shipping the item back in the same condition as we shipped it to you and the return shipping costs. Once we receive the item, we will issue the refund.
Additional policies and FAQs
We will gladly personalize any item (writing a name on the side of a mug, carving a wedding date into a bottom of a plate, etc.) for free, but the piece will have to be made to order--meaning it could take as long as 8 weeks to reach you. Please contact us if you would like an item sooner or to know our current estimates for time to make personalized pieces BEFORE purchasing an item.

Also, it is not possible to make a personalized item look exactly like another item, though we will try to get it as close as possible.

If you are interested in commissioning an item, please contact us via Etsy.
