Welcome to Cape ink!

I'm a self-taught painter, and have a love for anything nautical, especially vintage and antique nautical decor, whether it be seascapes or ol’ sea salts, the dustier and mustier the better!

I grew up on Cape Cod in a two hundred year old sea captain's home (haunted as well, but that’s a tale for another day!) and wanted to create nautical art that was reminiscent of my childhood, and my love for antique folk art. I also wanted to employ whimsical language within the artwork, thus the Cape Cod cocktail print was born! All my prints are printed at my home with 140 lb. fine art paper.

Love my painting, looks great on the wall I had in mind. It was in great condition. Also thank you for the very pretty card. I think I might frame that too as another piece of art.

I wish this was available in a larger size but I'm very happy with the print.

Thank you! The 5 x 7 print can also fit in an 8 x 10 frame if you place a mat around it, it looks pretty good too!

Original Seascape Paintings & Prints

Ahoy! Welcome to Cape ink! While I primarily consider myself a writer, I do love to dabble in painting. My work (fiction and cartoons) have been published in various online publications, and I'm currently working on a novel.

That said, I've had various Etsy shops over the years, delving into art and vintage, but my primary focus now is Cape Ink. I have a love for anything nautical, especially vintage and antique nautical decor, whether it be seascapes or ol’ sea salts, the dustier and mustier the better!

I grew up on Cape Cod in a two hundred year old sea captain's home (haunted as well, but that’s a tale for another day!) and wanted to create nautical art that was reminiscent of my childhood, and my love for antiques and folk art.
