About

Luxury Goat's Milk Bath and Body Goodies Handmade with Loving Hands

Our first two goats joined the family in March of 2005. Our little urban farm in Portland, Oregon has been the home of those two original goats (Rosie and Daisy) ever since. Rosie passed away summer 2015 at the happy age of 10 years. Daisy Mae is still going strong! We attribute her vibrant health to always taking her "goat vitamins". For about 6 years, we enjoyed raising sweet babies and adopting them to wonderful families.

I loved being with the goats and milking them, but was never a big milk drinker, so in 2006, I decided to try my hand at goat's milk soap. The first batch was made -- and boy, did it take FOREVER and a day to trace! ;) Despite the lengthy process, this did begin an obsession for goat's milk bath and body products! Once you try them, you will understand why!

Three years later, in 2009, the very first batch of goat's milk lotion was created. I was so excited with my ingredients: Shea Butter, Coconut, and Olive Oil with pure Goat's Milk. The end result was so very disappointing! Grainy, thick, and a bit too greasy - trying to get that lotion out of the bottle proved to be quite a challenge! So.... many hours of research went into figuring out just what went wrong and striving to perfect it.

As of 2015, several creams, lotions, and soaps have been added to the line as well as makeup! - each new product is designed with sensitive skin in mind using as natural of ingredients possible and ALWAYS lots of rich goat's milk!

The goats milk I now purchase for use in my products, comes from a happy farm in Washington, made by goats allowed to roam on beautiful green pasture, absolutely no chemicals in their diet.

    Owner, Maker, Designer

Olivia has been developing luxurious Goat's Milk products since 2006. She LOVES keeping and raising goats - although circumstances do not allow for it now. In the future, for certain!

  • Rosie My Luv

    A Sweet Memory!

Rosie was purchased in March '05, at one week old. She was a bottle-fed baby, our 1st goat, a sweet pet! She had two sets of triplets, and a single. She enjoyed a life of sweet retirement until summer 2015 when she passed away. She will be missed!

  • Comfort

One Of The Goats, Hay Burner

Comfort was born on our urban farm in 2010. She is the most loving goat we own but her favorite person is most certainly my little sister, Aleigha. Comfort loves to go on walks (as long as there is no leash!) She follows Aleigha wherever she goes!

  • Daisy Mae

One Of The Goats, Hay Burner

Daisy Mae arrived in March 2005 shortly after Rosie. She is a very sweet, rather impatient little goat. Daisy is retired now after having 7 beautiful babies - every single one as sweet as she is. Photo is Daisy with one of her first two girls.

  • Caylen

    Hay-Burner, The Only Boy

Meet Caylen! He was born on our urban farm in June 2012. His mother is Comfort and as of September 2013, this boy STILL NURSES! It's the funniest thing to see Comfort put her front feet up on the cement block in their yard and let him get a snack.

Thank you for visiting my Etsy store. I enjoy making quality, handcrafted items that are nourishing to the body, mind, senses, and the environment.

In striving to be a good steward of the earth (and a recycling-obsessed Oregonian! cue the Portlandia skit;) I do not include receipts/packing slips in orders, unless specifically requested. I also re-use shipping boxes, wrapping paper, bubble wrapping, etc. when possible. PLEASE recycle if you can!

**If you decide to purchase items from my shop, please remember that ALL of them are handmade and slight differences between batches are fairly common. Even though I use the same recipes (developed by myself) there is no guarantee each batch will turn out the exact same.
Also, keep in mind that with handmade soap, there are NO DETERGENTS (this is good! =) but also means there may not be the same lather you are accustomed to if recently switching over from commercial soaps.

Many thanks for supporting small Etsy shops and considering my natural Goat's Milk skin care and makeup line in your quest for living a little closer to nature!

Payment
I prefer to not accept check and money orders, but feel free to send me a convo if this is your only option. I can be flexible. :)

Payment must be received and cleared before item(s) will be shipped.

I reserve the right to cancel a sale. Any payments will, of course, be refunded should this occur.
Shipping
Shipping is currently available through USPS First Class, Priority, or Express Mail. Items will be shipped within 5 business days (usually 2 business days) after payment has been received and cleared. Local pick-up is also available. If you are in the Fargo-Moorhead area, send me a convo or email and we'll arrange for you to pick up your order!
Refunds and Exchanges
Due to the nature of the products I make, returns and exchanges cannot be accepted at this time, except on rare occasions. However, if you are at all unhappy with your purchase, please let me know BEFORE LEAVING FEEDBACK so I can strive to work something out. I cannot help if I don't know about the problem. :)

Items are packaged securely so as to ensure safe delivery. OCCASIONALLY, ITEMS HAVE BEEN DAMAGED IN SHIPMENT. Please note that once the products leave my hands at the Post Office, I am no longer responsible for them. INSURANCE IS RECOMMENDED.
Additional policies and FAQs
Family and friends sample all of my products and they are designed with sensitive skin in mind. If it is gentle enough for sensitive skin then it should be ideal for all skin types. As with all beauty products, please do a "patch-test" on a small area of skin. If there is irritation, please discontinue use and contact me so we can work something out.

I now make ALL of my lotions and creams with 100% natural preservatives!! This is amazing considering there is still REAL goat's milk!
Shelf life has consistently proved to be 4-6+ months (over a year for some!) The variation depends on how you handle your creams/lotions and climate you live in. For the longest lasting product, please refrigerate (up to a year, maybe more?!) Also, be sure your fingers are clean when dipping in so that new bacteria is not introduced.

Each and every one of my customers is so valuable! If you are unhappy with your purchase, for whatever reason, please let me know and I will try my best to fix the situation.

Custom orders are welcomed (although occasionally I have had to turn them down if it's a busy time of year). Custom orders have a $30 minimum.

As with all handmade items, there will be some small variation in each product. Please keep this in mind and forgive me if the end product is not always exactly right.

Wholesale and large quantity discounts may be available. Please contact me for further information.
