5 out of 5 starsI needed a new eye pillow to use during migraines and the best I've ever had was spearmint and chamomile. I was thrilled to find this one! It's a perfect weight and size and the mix of scents is just right. My next migraine will be significantly easier to get through with this to help me.

Working on my 1970's Singer machine.
Repurposing antique/vintage upholstery fabrics with modern fabrics to create one of a kind wallets that tell a new story.
The inspiration for my wallets comes from 2 sources. 1) My extensive fabric collection. 2) My sewing machines.
My collection of upholstery fabrics (and various other types of fabrics) that I source from antique shops, thrift stores, estate sales, etc. inspires me to no end. Every piece of fabric tells a unique story whether it's a cloth napkin from the 1970's, a piece of upholstery fabric from a Victorian sofa, or a novelty upholstery fabric sample. By combining these older, beautiful pieces of fabric with much younger pieces of fabric from cotton to velvet to sheer fabrics, I get to create a story through not only colors and prints, but also through the age of the fabrics and the history of where they may have been throughout their lifetime.
Secondly, I draw inspiration from my 4 beautiful Singer sewing machines which range in age from 7 years old to 90 years old. Dates of birth: 1927, 1962, 1978, and 2010. I use each machine for different aspects of each wallet, so through the process of creating each wallet, it gains another level of history thorough its journey.
Each wallet I create is 100% one of a kind, unless I receive a request to make matching wallets. It's hard for me to part with any of them, as they are my art and I put hours and hours into each one.
