I’m Hakan Yildirim who is the owner of the Caretta Vintage eyewear store. Me and my beloved wife Eda, we have established the Caretta Vintage store in 2011. Together with Tuba Acik, who joined us over time.
Caretta has started its journey only as a local vintage store and in the early days, we included other products in listings besides glasses. Over time, we changed our focus to glasses only, because we became more aware that a glasses we take in our hands is not just glasses. We were fascinated with the unlimited design possibilities and artistic side of the eyewear world. With the years of experience in the industry, we are trying to put together a collection that very special and immaculately handpicked. Our current eyeglasses collection of 30,000, which we have acquired over the years, is constantly expanding and we are trying to make them more accessible to you trough Etsy..We have been offering our handpicked selection on Etsy for a long time now. Due to some technical and platform reasons, we had to move from our old store to our new version of Etsy Store. Unfortunately during this process we had to leave behind over 1500 positive reviews given to our old store.
