Hello everyone-Thanks for taking the time to read this.I am a self taught artist and I specialize in animals portraits-anything with fur feathers or scales. I particularly love to capture peoples pets on paper or canvas. They are with us such a short time that is is wonderful to have something to remember them once they leave us.I have portraits of my pets past and present all over my house-it brings comfort to look in their loving eyes.

Why I quit my day job
Hello, Welcome to my page.I am a self taught artist and I specialize in all pet related art and some crafts. I started back into painting a few years ago with artist trading cards-I was quickly hooked! Some of the people who purchased these asked me to capture their special pets on paper for them-and so a business was born!I really enjoy doing this for people-they cherish their pets and we get so little time with them.I also now make tie dyed shirts for dogs-still a little hippy in me from the younger years. They look so cute sporting these multi-colored tees.I also make artist bears but not as many are born at my house these days as portraits keep me pretty busy.After a few years of juggling my day job and this-I decided it was time to devote all my time to doing what I love-life is short-why not enjoy it to the fullest.I have never looked back and really love meeting people on-line. I have sent portraits,painting,drawings,bears and tee's all over the world-there are some really nice people out there. I look forward to meeting more of you,bye for now,Carla
