I love my new scarf! It got to me super fast too, with some sweet extras. The color is beautiful, soft, warm, and earthy. It is fun to know that Carly handpicked flowers to make the dye. Will definately be back to buy more lovely scarves!

All items for sale in this shop are handwoven and/or hand dyed by Carly Goss. I maintain a modest studio in Randolph, New Hampshire where I weave all of my scarves, wrist cuffs, and other works of textile art. I weave on 4- and 8-shaft floor looms. I tend to use historic patterns that have been around for ages—many of them traditional Appalachian patterns. I aim to maintain the integrity of these old designs while ensuring their relevance in a modern, fashionable society.
Before purchasing an item, please note the dimensions. For wrist cuffs, in particular, I recommend measuring first and purchasing the cuff that will fit you best. Cuffs should fit snugly, but not too tightly. Likewise, you may want to use a measuring tape to determine an approximate suitable length for a pocket scarf. There are many ways to wrap and tie scarves, so you should be able to find a way for just about any scarf to fit. Still, you might want to wrap a tape measure around your neck to be sure.
Almost all of my work can be hand washed in lukewarm water with a mild soap and laid flat to dry. If you are not sure, you can always ask me.
