Hello and welcome to my shop!
I'm glad you found your way here.

I've been loving etsy for years and decided it was finally time to open up my own shop.

I currently work with a few different clay bodies, my personal favorite is a gorgeous whiter than white porcelain from Australia. This work is high fired in an electric kiln with an icy blue copper glaze on the inside. In the shop you'll also find some pieces that are made of stoneware and that are either wood fired or fired in gas reduction. These colors will be more of the earthy greys, yellows, oranges and browns. And lastly I also work with a cone 6 clay body. Some of my designs I've been developing and working with for over 5 years now.

Most of my work is wheel thrown with the odd handbuilt piece thrown in for fun. I love working with crisp lines on the wheel, components that can stack in interesting ways, forms that bring to mind architecture and industrial design, and then sometimes I revolt against it all and enjoy the movement of the wheel and create loose organic forms. Hopefully there's something here for everyone.

I can ship to anywhere in the world. The prices quoted for shipping are for Canada only (but please remember that everything is in American Dollars). Please email me for shipping cost information if you live outside of Canada. I'd be happy to send you a price quote.

Please check out my other etsy shop which showcases the figurative ceramic sculptures I make at caroleeppceramics.etsy.com

I've also recently opened up a new shop showcasing my sewing designs at theuntrainedeye.etsy.com

My personal website which showcases some of the work I do:
caroleepp.com
please feel free to email with any questions you have about work seen there.
I also write a ceramic based blog called:
musingaboutmud.blogspot.com

Cheers!

Hello and welcome,
Below you'll find my shipping and refund policies. Please have a look at them before purchasing anything. Feel free to let me know if you have any questions. Most importantly - thanks for shopping with me!

Accepted payment methods

  • Pay with Visa
  • Pay with Master Card
  • Pay with American Express
  • Pay with Discover
  • Pay with PayPal
Payment
At this point I'm only accepting payments via paypal.
Your order will not be shipped until your transaction is completed and paid for.
Shipping
Please make sure your shipping address on Etsy is correct. This is the address I use for all my shipping. I do not use the address on Paypal. If you would like your order sent to a different address than the one you have for shipping please leave me a note of where you would like it shipped in the comments section of your order or email me with the address of where you would like it sent.

I ship with Canadian Post. Currently the only way to have ceramic work insured while being shipped in Canada is to have UPS pack it themselves. Obviously this is comes at a greater cost to you. If you are interested in having the work insured please email and I will get you an accurate UPS quote.

I pack and ship once a week, if you're in a big hurry please let me know in the comments section and I'll get to the order asap.

Any extra charges for express mail or insurance will be charged to the purchaser.

I can ship to anywhere in the world, but due to the varying rates for international shipping you'll only see Canadian shipping costs for the item, so please contact me for a quote. I am not responsible for international customs charges or breakage that occur because of customs checks.
Refunds and Exchanges
I've got years of experience packing and shipping ceramics and thus am very careful. Your purchase will be packed securely. I do use recycled boxes (but they do still have to meet my standards!)

If there should be damage to any items I will replace the broken item with a similar item if available but only if the cause was my fault. I will require photography proof of damage.

If for some reason you are not satisfied with your purchases please email me to discuss the problem. I would like you to be happy with your purchase. An exchange or refund can be made at this time. The purchaser is responsible for all return shipping costs and will make sure the item is properly packed in its original packaging. Shipping costs will not be refunded.
Additional policies and FAQs
If you have any interest in works seen on my website (caroleepp.com) please feel free to contact me and if the piece is available I'll be happy to add the item to the shop.

I'm currently not in the position to do any commissioned projects (I have a one year old in the house!) When circumstances change I will let you know. Thanks for understanding.
