Shop policies
The Sari silk fabric in our etsy store comes from recycling vintage, pre-loved silk Sari's. We try very hard to carefully inspect each piece to make sure that only the best material is chosen. However, because the fabric is vintage, and pre-loved, it is not unusual to see some minor signs of wear and tear, such as small marks, stains or holes. Wherever possible, these imperfections would be cut out, but sometimes this is not possible, especially when fabric is ordered in continuous metres, where the fabric is kept in one piece. We hope that if you do come across any imperfections, you are able to work around these. As mentioned, the silk fabric comes from cutting up and recycling vintage, pre-loved silk Sari's, and as a result, one or more of the fabrics edges will be a raw cut edge, especially for the thinner diameter fabric and fabric described as recycled Sari silk ribbon. Pictures are taken as close ups, using natural light. When taking pictures, we aim to get as close to the true colours as possible, but sometimes this is difficult. Also colours may vary between computer monitors.

On January 1, 2019, Germany’s Packaging Act (VerpackG) came into effect, imposing requirements on online retailers (including Etsy shops) selling to buyers in Germany. The Packaging Act promotes recycling and reuse of packaging materials (e.g. cardboard boxes, tape, and bubble wrap).

I accept payment by cheque for UK customers only; please note that the beads or buttons can only be dispatched once the cheque has cleared.
Shipping
We will endeavour to keep all of our customers updated as much as possible, and with this in mind, we feel that the customer is within their rights to cancel their order and receive a full refund, if their order has not been dispatched within 14 days from the date of the order. If the customers requests a cancellation before the 14 days from the date of the order, they will receive a refund less the 15% re-stocking fee.
