After volunteering in a charity bridal shop following my departure from full time work, I found working with excitable ladies preparing for their wedding such fun. One day we had a donation from a bridal salon of damaged tiaras that were beyond repair. Being a little crafty I took them all home, scavenged all the materials and elements off them and made new headpieces that were more fashionable and Caroline's Combs was born. Funny how life throws you a soft ball now and again. Ive been making headpieces since 2009 and its so much fun meeting ladies and their close family and friends as they choose their perfect headpiece.

Returns and exchanges
All my items are fully guaranteed against poor workmanship. Every item is checked fully before I wrap it: if upon delivery it is bent out of shape, a simple re-teasing will suffice as the wire is malleable.
If the item you have purchased fails to meet your requirements please return it for a refund of the purchase price within 7 days of delivery. I recommend confirmed delivery with tracking for returns.
If you live overseas you must contact me on delivery and return the item within 14 days of your message. you must mark your parcel as a RETURN: this is very important as Customs Duty will be due on re-entry into the United Kingdom. I do not refund postage for unwanted items and I do not accept returns for items that are made to order.

Please repackage the item as it was on receipt.. I request that you obtain a Post Office proof of posting so that in the event of the parcel not being delivered you can make a claim.
If returning from overseas your parcel customs declaration label must state it is a return.
Items must not shown any signs of wear.
Your refund will be paid to you within 10 days of receipt or you can request an exchange.

With the exception of faulty items, return postage is at your own cost.
Payment
Payment can be made via Paypal or I can raise a Paypal invoice for you to pay with a credit card (International) or debit card (UK only)

Shipping
I always ship 1st class using the Royal Mail within 2 days for readymade: UK delivery is usually 2-5 days, USA and abroad 7-20 days. Once the parcel has left my hands I cannot be responsible for late or non delivery.
I obtain a proof of purchase for every item sent and I photograph the parcel before I send it and send that to the buyer.
As expected I do not know how long a parcel will take if it is sent internationally.

Please note that buyers are responsible for any and all duties and customs charges that may be incurred. I am not responsible for any customs fees or taxes incurred, delays caused by the Postal Service, lost or stolen packages, nor items not delivered because of incorrect delivery information provided by the client.
I do not give refunds for lost packages in the mail. I make sure the packages are safely delivered to the Post Office. Once there, they are the responsibility of the postal system. I keep all postal receipts, and will provide you with a copy upon request as proof I mailed it to you.
International customers are responsible for all fees associated with shipping to their respective countries. The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates. All international orders will have full value declared on customs forms - no exceptions.

Everything I make is made with the utmost care and attention and finished beautifully. You will not find any loose or unsightly wires in my creations. I am a crafter working from home not a wholesale business, despite this I can provide multiple quantities of the same item if requested at a discretionary discount.
