Last week's Historic Nolensville Buttercup Festival had to be rescheduled due to thunderstorms predicted all day. It is now this Saturday, April 21, from 10 AM til 5:00 PM. Come find me to see my items "in person".

March 2018
I'm happy to say my sewing skills keep improving. I've been removing things that I made awhile ago because my newer things are SO MUCH BETTER! The bags are sturdier, better made, more creative, more detailed, and just all around more skillfully put together.

My shop is going through yet ANOTHER major transition since I now have brought all my current items back from the brick and mortar store. Now it will take me a week or so to get everything listed on Carol's All About Color again. Lots of my new things have never been on Etsy, so I have to start from scratch with about half of the items.

I'm about to open another shop focusing on concealed carry bags. It should go LIVE very soon. I think I'll name it Concealed Carry Bags in Tennessee. (CCBagsinTennessee)

If you're a dog lover, also check out my other Etsy shop, CarolsCanineLine. Those are things made with dog-motif fabric. Some things are FOR dogs and some things are for people made with fun doggie-themed fabric.

About

Inspired by my Granddaughter

I've sewn most of my life, more at times and less at others. I was a Home Economics teacher for 13 years.
My granddaughter, Jaylie, got excited about sewing around Christmas of 2014, and that inspired me to get back into it. I used to sew most of my clothes and stopped that at some point. Now I really like to make purses, mostly, but also cases for lots of things, like iPods, iPhones, and iPads. Many of the things I make I create just from my head, and other things are from patterns.
I'm new to Etsy, but not new to sewing. I recently got a new sewing machine and cabinet, and now I like to sew all the time.

I've been sewing since I was about eight years old, taught by my maternal grandmother. I took that love of sewing to college and made it into a career as a Home Economics teacher. Now I am retired and get to sew whenever I want!
