Doodling + Letterpress = Getting Out for Recess
For years I drew.
I drew in school -- both when I was asked to and maybe sometimes when I wasn't.
I drew at home. And I drew for work -- being an art director in an ad agency, it came in handy. (So did having a healthy sense of humour.)
With markers, pencils, paintbrushes and crayons, I drew and drew from the trenches of real life and thus, carolyndraws was born.
Then one Christmas, I got an antique letterpress. It took some elbow grease, lots of patience (some swear words) and some really good teachers, but not long afterward, I woke that little press up from its decades long slumber for a real workout.
Every day I mix truckloads of real-life inspiration with a pinch of snark, a handful of illustrations and lots of hand-lettering to create greeting cards that people love to receive and give. And when I'm done, I round those off with handmade Super Magnets, the coolest Temporary Tattoos and calendars.

All of our items (except large, bulky orders) are shipped via Canada Post First Class letter mail. CANADA POST DOES NOT OFFER TRACKING ON FIRST CLASS LETTER MAIL. If you'd like your package tracked, please message us about purchasing a shipping upgrade before you place your order.
