Announcement    Ordering from me is often a personal experience. But please understand, most items are made to order... allow me time to make yours.

It is in the front of my mind that you are most likely choosing this as a gift. I want it to be super special and personal. So convo with all your questions and ideas to make this personal. And please, have a good email (and check it) as questions do arise.

Carrabelle is all about bringing a loving flair to your Gift Giving. Each item is thoughtfully conceived from my personal experience or through Customer Requests. I lovingly hand craft each item and am proud to say I am the only Artisan in the shop. I am the buyer, the cutter, the sewer, the janitor and the shipper.

I love customs! Changing a color or design is as easy as asking. My proudest reviews are where I work closely with the client to create something unique and personal.

I love working one on one with my clients-- back to the true etsy spirit.

I realize you have shopped and considered several items/shops before deciding on an item that is perfect for giving or display in your own home. I am honored, and take the responsibility seriously.

Follow me on http://www.facebook.com/groups/10150116598085234/#!/pages/ThreadBare/235062766533236 to see them. My FB page can show you custom items I create that are not listed here.

I also have a blog that is also good for information. www.carol-in-carrabelle.com

Carrabelle

I choose Carrabelle for my shop name because-- when I opened it, I thought it was where I'd retire. Well I am retired and FT etsy artist.

I've been sewing since I was 5, made my wedding dress and my kids clothes -- then took a break. I fell back in love with my craft when I bought my first embroidery machine.

I love customs. My proudest reviews are when customers use my hands and tools to create OOAK gifts.

My mission is to make your gift a memory.

Tracking an order.

Carrabelle is not responsible for errors made by the United States Post Office. I promise to ship within stated lead time. However, if your item is delayed past an "estimated arrival date" we apologize, but that is something that is outside of our control and recommend that you file a complaint with the USPS.

Tell me about osnaburg

I love using osnaburg fabric. Its a natural heavily woven cotton. It has a nice texture that many compare to linen or burlap. Many of my designs are very dense, and it takes the stitches better than a flat fabric. Sometimes there is a random thread that doesn't take the color or bleach.Just like you'd see in linen or burlap. There aren't a lot of them, sometimes we won't see one in a project, other times you'll get one or two. They are super small, visualize a single thread woven in about an inch of the fabric. The fabric may also have a slub, this is not a snag, with a hole as if you snagged a sweater. Nature doesn't create cotton uniformly and most embrace the organic look. Neither are flaws.
