Modern Quilts and Soft Goods by Carrie Strine

Carrie was born and raised in Central Pennsylvania surrounded by the beautiful Amish traditions of quilting and craft. She’s the modern incarnation of her family’s many generations of seamstresses, quilters and needlecrafters. Quilting especially is a way for Carrie to connect her present experiences and inspirations to pay homage these generations past. Surrounded by doers and makers, Carrie began crafting and designing at a very young age. For 8 years she has been sharing her love for art and all sorts of making by teaching at art colleges, on the internet, or in shops around the North East. Formally trained as a fine artist, Carrie received her MFA from Massachusetts College of Art and Design and her BS in Photography from Drexel University. She most recently worked for 20x200 | Jen Bekman Projects, but now spends her time in the studio she shares with designer boyfriend Tim Lahan.

Each of my items is a fine handmade heirloom that I hope you will hand down for generations. Each item is created entirely by me, and I use only the materials.

Please see tags for washing instructions.

Accepted payment methods

  • Pay with Visa
  • Pay with Master Card
  • Pay with American Express
  • Pay with Discover
  • Pay with PayPal
Payment must be made via paypal, and I ask that payment be made within 3 days of purchase. Failure to pay will result in cancellation of the transaction, and appropriate feedback.

Of course, I want to be flexible, and leaving negative feedback is a last resort. In most situations if you have not paid and you've changed your mind about the purchase, and just contact me I'm happy to cancel the sale without feedback. You must do so before the 3 days are up.
My items ship USPS priority mail, and check the listing for details if your item is made to order of ready to ship.

I package all of my items with the utmost care, and see to it that they make it to the post office with the proper shipping information. Unfortunately I cannot be held responsible for lost packages. I happily provide tracking information for USPS Priority Mail packages.
Refunds and Exchanges
I do accept returns under limited circumstances, and my goal is to cooperate to reach a mutual understanding. Please be aware I will not issue a refund if you have misread the description, or if you do not follow washing instructions.

Each case is different, so I do not offer a general refund policy. I prefer to deal with each case on an individual basis. If you have any questions about the return and refund policy, please contact me and I'd be happy to answer them for you.
Additional policies and FAQs
Custom orders welcome please contact me anytime, however they are subject to a $50 - $100 increase in price with relation to similar items with similar materials in my shop. This increase accounts for acquiring supplies and additional labor for materials that I don't have on hand to make your custom order.

Wholesale interest is welcome, but I am not interested in consignment. Please contact me directly at carriestrine [!at]
