About

Nature is what makes us.

Carter Jewelry Co. has been a long time coming to get to where it is today. We strive to share our love of the natural environment and what it has to offer.

My love of stones has developed since I was a kid constantly combing the beaches, streams, and rivers of my home state, Oregon. Since then my love of rocks, minerals, and crystals grew. To use my collection I began making wire wrapped jewelry as a way to pass the time and make things for myself to wear.

In college people started to ask if my jewelry was for sale. Of course! I got some tuition to pay. I took classes to refine and develop my skills.

Now I make jewelry with all sorts of skills and techniques. From wire wrapping to fabrication to casting to hand forged mokume gane to stone setting. I love designing and making one of a kind pieces that no one else on the planet will ever have. I make custom engagement and wedding rings, and a whole manner of special pieces of wearable art.
