My love for printmaking started while I was in college for Graphic Design, thanks to an excellent instructor who wanted to share some classic printmaking techniques with her students. Thanks, Courtney! That love has expanded every day and is quickly becoming more than just a hobby!

I opened my Etsy shop at the beginning of 2020 (I know right, what was I thinking?!) and have worked extra hard to guarantee customer satisfaction. I create to create and because of this, I offer a wide range of linocut prints in many different styles in my shop.

▪▪About the Process▪▪
There is quite a bit of work that goes into creating these unique linocut prints, but it all starts from a simple sketch that I keep working on until I’m happy with the look, feel, and layout of the composition. After I complete the sketch, I transfer the sketch to a piece of linoleum that is mounted on a woodblock. Then, I carve my design into the lino block using special linoleum cutting tools called gouges. Once I am happy with my carving, I apply relief ink to the surface of the lino block using a roller (often called a brayer) and then press the design into high-quality paper. This process usually takes a few test prints to get it up to my high standards. Then I do a run of prints, trim them, and take pictures to get them ready for listing on Etsy. This whole process is done by hand and requires a lot of attention and patience but results in a truly unique print that will brighten any room or office.
