About

Handmade Contemporary Ceramic Goods

My ceramic pieces are inspired from my studio practice, where I make conceptual abstract sculptures out of clay. I enjoy the process of handbuilding so much that I want to translate that into making ceramic goods that can be used in everyday life.

Handbuilding each cup, bowl, mug, and other pieces feels more natural to me than making them on the potter's wheel. While I love making pieces with my wheel, I love the marks left behind on the clay when it is being hand built. It ensures that each piece looks and feels truly unique.

My shop features both handbuilt and wheel thrown pieces as I enjoy both and feel that depending on the design it is necessary to have a process that is respectively appropriate. I aim to make my pieces affordable so anyone can have a small piece of art in their homes that they cherish.
