5 out of 5 starsI ordered this yarn as a gift for my sister for christmas and the second she opened it up she was SPEECHLESS! it's SOOO pretty and soft and wonderful and, at least for me, LOCAL! I'm excited to visit the brick and mortar store where her yarns are sold soon!

5 out of 5 starsAlways lovely yarn in color and quality. I love receiving the mystery bundle as it makes for great gift yarn and gives me a chance to play with colors outside my norm. :) Packaging is always pretty in bags that I repurpose to wrap gifts in.

5 out of 5 starsOrdered this yarn for my first time trying to knit socks as a gift for my boyfriend and while there is a learning curve I am adjusting to, the yarn is GORGEOUS and perfect for this project. i'm just excited to finally get past the first 5 rows without accidentally slipping off my needles LOL

Minis! Minis! Sooooo many minis!!
Making beautiful things, one skein at a time!
Hello and thank you for visiting Cashmere & Coconuts!
I’m Anastasia, crafter, creator and Dyer of all you see here. My journey into the fiber world began very hesitantly back in 2006, when my dad’s aunt taught me to crochet during the long hours we sat in hospice with my grandmother. For the next 13-14 years I occasionally made a hat or scarf, all the while trying to convince myself I really loved it. Secretly, I wanted to learn to knit, but the concept of two needles baffled me and I never really took the time to learn.
Fast forward to Covid, and like most of you, my world was flipped upside down. Suddenly faced with a LOT more time on my hands, I realized that my lifelong dream to learn to knit, and not just knit, but knit socks, was something I finally had time to learn to do. After watching many YouTube videos, and stumbling across the Crazy Sock Lady, I realized the only way it was going to happen would be to jump in feet first—-literally. And so I cast on my first pair of socks, and life has not been the same since!
To fund my habit, I began to dye yarn in early 2020, and in 2021 I finally felt what I had to offer was sellable. 😂 It has been QUITE the process, and I’ve learned so much along the way. Thank you SO much for taking the time to visit today and I hope you find just the perfect yarn for your needs!

Care instructions
All hand dyed yarns are processed using professional acid dyes, however some dyes may still bleed in hot water or upon first washing. Please always wash hand dyed yarns in cold water and do not soak. While I do use Superwash yarn bases on the vast majority of my yarns, I still recommend laying your finished items flat to dry to protect the lifespan of your item.
