My name is Cassie and I was born and raised in New England. I have always loved crafting and especially making things that I can actually use.

A bit about the items I currently sell in my shop:

MASKS
I started making masks in April. At first I couldn't get any elastic and didn't have much on hand (I had used it all to make scrunchies before coronavirus hit! Oops!). My first few mask designs used string or yarn for closure. I spent hours and hours testing tons of different designs. Huge shoutout to all the people that tested these for me and provided really useful feedback. Because of the quantity I wanted to make and the need I had to build a mask where I could eventually swap the string out for elastic, I settled on the design you see in my store now. If you want to try making it for yourself please visit my blog where I've written a tutorial. Since April, I've made and donated over 1000 masks to adults and children in need. BONDING SCARVES
My bonding scarves were inspired by my two guinea pigs, Gronk and Brady. Both cavies came to us from families that could no longer care for them for various reasons. One year after adopting Gronk, I was moving her from her floor time space back into their cage when she squirmed and fell out of my hands. I was devastated and we rushed her to the emergency vet where we learned she had broken her front leg. After months of rehabilitation and medications, she's back to being as spunky as ever. However, since that experience I have been extremely nervous picking up my guinea pigs. I don't want to miss out on bonding time, but I'm constantly worried about having another accident like that. I designed these bonding scarves so that I would have a way to safely carry my pigs around and not miss out on precious bonding time. I have heard from friends with pet rats, ferrets, and even snakes who love them too!

QUILTS
Quilting is probably the most challenging hobby I currently have but it's soooo satisfying when you finish such a big project. The first quilt I made was a monthly milestone quilt for my sister's first baby. She loved it and I loved the process of making it so I decided to make more. Quilts take a long time to make and require a lot of materials which is why my quilt prices are so high. However, you can always follow my blog to see how I make each quilt and maybe you'll be inspired to copy one of my designs and make your own!

SUSTAINABILITY
I try to recycle as much as possible so you may see items shipped in recycled boxes or packaging, labels printed on scrap paper, and products made from thrifted or recycled materials. If you couldn't tell from my workspace picture, I'm not a fan of throwing things out! Everything has a use.
