Beads, Findings, and More

I opened this little shop in 2007, or was it's been so long!

I started making jewelry when I was 13 and opened up my jewelry Etsy shop at the wise old age of 20 something in 2005 (when Etsy first started!0. After a couple of years I'd accumulated enough beads and goodies to open my own store!

So that's where this Etsy shop comes compulsion/addiction benefits you. :)

I didn't start out buying beads to resell...that was not my goal nor my passion. But as life circumstances changed around me this shop has taken a little higher priority. And I've found that I really enjoy being a "personal shopper" for other people - I keep my eyes open for things that I think others will love as much as I do!

My goal is to get the best quality, unique materials and sell them at a reasonable price so that you can create beautiful jewelry. I know how hard it is to price finished jewelry at decent prices when the cost of supplies can add up fast.

I will be on the look out for unique beads, findings, and other supplies that I love and think others could create beauty with.

I also inherited a LOT (seriously...a TON) of jewelry supplies, lapidary supplies, and stones from my grandparents who were jewelry designers. I can't keep everything so I'm starting to sell things as I go through all the supplies. Once they are gone, they are gone...unless I keep finding more in all the boxes still in my garage. :)

If you're looking for something specific, feel free to shoot me a convo and when I go to wholesale shows I'll keep my eyes open. If I can find great deals I'll buy extra to share with others. :) I'm not one to hoard my sources!

Welcome to my beading addiction...I'm a jewelry designer with a LOT of supplies. Not only that, I inherited a whole bunch of lapidary supplies from my grandparents who were rock hounds, stone cutters, and jewelry designers.

I'm married with two little boys, one husband, and one big dog. I work full time and manage this shop, and my jewelry shop (, and try to find time to color!

My ultimate goal is to make room for more supplies (don't tell my husband)...and to share things I find that I think others will like to use in their own designs. I know how hard it can be to find unique and unusual things to incorporate into your designs. My goal is not to be a massive provider of standard supplies - rather I want to find interesting and unique things for you!

You'll probably notice some odd numbers in the listings...usually if it's a strand of something I've used in the past I have an odd number left. I generally don't make duplicates so then I have beads left. I typically won't have hundreds of any one item as I am looking to provide unique and interesting items.

I hope you find something you like truly brings me great joy when people are happy with something they buy here. I'm not trying to make tons of money...just enough to buy more beads! :)

If you're happy with your order I appreciate positive feedback. :)

10% off for orders over $100 = DISCOUNT100
15% off for orders over $150 = DISCOUNT150
20% off for orders over $200 = DISCOUNT200

Please use the discount code upon checkout. I am NOT going to adjust orders after the fact. DO NOT ENTER THE CODE IN THE NOTE TO BUYER SECTION. Also your order must be meet the level PRIOR to shipping.

I don't send out an order until payment is received either through Paypal or Etsy direct checkout. Once payment is received I do my very bets to pack and ship everything in 24 hours...but that doesn't always happen. Two kids and all that... My goal is no more than 3 days. If there is some delay past that I will contact you.
I ship using USPS First Class unless otherwise requested. If you place a significantly large order I will upgrade to priority with tracking - this includes International. I'm not trying to make money on shipping - I simply need to cover my costs (postage, fees, packaging).

I use small bubble envelopes as well as bubble wrap - almost all my bubble wrap is donated from friends ... trying to save money and resources! :) I also use thin cardboard (i.e. from cereal boxes, granola boxes, etc.) to provide a little extra protection if I feel it's needed.

I do my very best to ensure your order is packaged carefully so it won't get damaged in transit. But once it leaves my house it's really out of my control.

For International Shipments I will NOT LIE on a customs form. Please do nto ask.
Additional policies and FAQs
I do my very best to describe all beads and findings ... some I've had for a really long time and didn't write down all the information - in which case I will say that in the listing. If I know the treatment of an item I will include that in the listing as well.

My photographs are taken in a light box and I also try to take pictures in natural light when possible. I DO edit my pictures...mostly to lighten the 'white' level and show the colors more accurately. I've never had any issues with my editing changing the way the items are shown on my computer screen and I do my best to make sure the colors are accurate on my screen.

What I have listed (i.e. quantities) is typically all I have and I'm not able to get more. I'm not a major wholesaler who does quantities in the hundreds. I usually buy a few at a wholesale show.

I also inherited my grandparent's lapidary equipment including stones and settings. I think I've found most of the sterling silver, gold fill, and base metal findings and belt buckles but as I continue to go through I find a few more here and there. The next project will be going through the rough stone to figure out which I will sell and which I will keep.

If you really like something I can't promise it will stick around long. I've had a few people really disappointed after things sell out. I WILL NO LONGER RESERVE ITEMS. It's too confusing for me to keep track of what is reserved and what isn' mommy brain needs simplicity. I apologize for the inconvenience.
