i'm a Brisbane based artist creating waterproof origami jewelry & figurines, resin cast animal skull jewelry, resin coated flora and fauna, steampunk costumes & accessories and steampunk themed insect & plant illustrations and prints.

everything in my shop is totally handmade by myself. all items are handcrafted using high quality materials and made to order however, slight differences may occur from time to time. that's what makes it unique!

i use many reclaimed and recycled papers in my origami work including postage stamps, comic books, sheet music and books. no books are harmed in my process - i only use books that can no longer be used as books.

pieces are priced according to:
1. size of the model: the smaller something is the more difficult it is to fold
2. cost of the paper varies greatly - bronzed paper is $20 a sheet!
3. cost of the findings: i use a mixture of precious and base metal findings

this is why the same model may sell for a variety of different prices.

most of the flowers and leaves i preserve and resin coat are from my own garden. i even make my own leaf skeletons.

the insects i use are from 2 entomologist friends - one works for a zoo and one for a traveling show for educating children in schools. so they are indeed ethically sourced, often having a spoilt life free from predators and fed the best food, and die from natural causes such as old age (insects only tend to live 3-6 months).

my costumes and clothing are made from vintage, reclaimed and recycled fabrics where ever possible. i favour using natural fibres such as silks, wools and cottons. all screenprinting and dying is fixed so that items can be washed in a household washing machine.

Returns and exchange details
all items are extremely well tested for durability under normal usage and have been sold at craft markets over the last ten years. prints and photographs have not only been tested by prolonged sun-exposure, but have also been hand-varnished using a UV-stabilising varnish.

all origami items have been coated with 3-4 layers of epoxy varnish which makes them quite durable and prevents fading.it also makes them waterproof. items have gone thru the washing machine by accident or earrings worn swimming or in the shower - all survived perfectly intact.

if you item does become damaged outside of reasonable wear and tear, please contact me. i may be able to repair the damage. items must be returned to me at buyer's expense and a small charge for repairs may be required.
Payment
preferred payment is via etsy. however, for locals i can organise direct bank transfer or creditcard payments over the phone for custom orders.
Shipping
i ship via AustPost within 1-3 working days of receiving your payment.

free shipping on all items within Australia. flat rate international shipping is $10 (unless i can sneak it through as a large letter/merchandise sample). postage rates vary due to Australia Post shipping not only by weight, but by size as well. most jewellery and accessory items can be shipped as letter post but some things are larger than the 10mm thickness and must be shipped via parcel post at a greater cost.

estimated time for deliveries within Australia can be up to 5 working days, depending your location. for overseas deliveries, the estimated time is anywhere between 5 - 21 days.

i'm happy to organise express post or registered mail - please email or convo me to arrange this.

all items are packed with care with bubble-wrap, filler etc in hard cardboard boxes.

please ensure that your postal address is current and correct. i cannot change a postal address after an item has been posted. if parcels are returned to me then additional postage costs may be charged.

i can't foresee any problems with customs due to the materials used. however, please check your local customs laws if there is any doubt. i can't be responsible for charges due to international customs regulations.
