About

Welcome to my Boutique! 2017 marks the end of my 10th and most successful year in business, thank you for your appreciation and support! I am very fortunate to be able to do what I love and be successful!

My business is growing. In addition to unique fine art pieces and traveling to shows, I am working on a quality line of artwork that can be reproduced to keep up with the demand of my art while still creating the unique pieces that take hours of meticulous attention to detail.

Since 2007, after deciding to start my fine art business, I have been creating fine art jewelry and some small metal sculpture, working on commission and teaching at Callanwolde Fine Art Center (for 10 years) beginning and intermediate metalsmithing classes. Over the years, I have been honored many times with awards at festivals, contests, having art in local galleries as well as having my Transformed collection in 3 museums: the High Museum gift store, the Pensacola Museum gift store and currently there is a selection of my unique works at Brookgreen Gardens Museum gift store located on Pawley's Island.

Please note the distinction when I use the words "unique" and "design". My unique pieces are made by starting from scratch with sheet metal and wire and using an acetylene torch to fabricate the artwork, so there is only one-it's the original. An original Petite Ribbon Pendant will take 6-12 hours for me to fabricate and finish. Using the same process, I am working on a line of master designs, the difference is these masters can be cast and replicated so more people can enjoy it.

If you are a Georgia resident I am required to charge sales tax. All shipping fees include signature authorization so that your package will land in your hands (you'll need to sign for it). If you would rather pick up your order rather than having it shipped, please email me; I am located in Decatur, Georgia just a few miles outside of Atlanta. Items shipped are in a gift box and small items are in a luxurious Organza ribbon tote.

My passion is creating meaningful, inviting hand wrought works of art-unique meaningful pieces. In 2005, my artwork was still more geometric and flat, I wanted to bring flow into my work. I began a mixed media using copper metal and trying to bring fabric into the artwork - I love the textures, colors and that great draped flow. During that time of experimenting, I starting using a vice and hammer to fold the metal and soon realized, I could get that gorgeous draped look and ribbony flow by using the vice and hammer! I made my first Ribbon bracelet that year. The collection has been evolving ever since!

Because the popularity of my artwork has surged and the art of metalsmithing is a long process (one basic Ribbon bracelet takes 12-15 hours to complete), I have begun creating a few master works that can be recreated, to fill the demand to wear my artwork. I hope my wares will inspire you!
